Subhadra Was restless.. She was thinking of confessing her love to arjun..
Suddenly she heard a knock on the door..
It was arjun.. He had a disappointed look on his face
"I'm soo sorry bhadre... I've to go to kuntibhoj immediately... Grandfather has called us three there... I'm sorryy.." He said.. She was disappointed.. But she changed her expression within a second
"There must me some reason if he called you immediately... It's okay i understand..." She said With a smile
He looked at her face for some moments.. She was avoiding eye contact..
"When are you coming back?" She asked
"3, 4 days.. Maybe a week.. I don't know.." He said.. She looked at him and nodded slowly
"You can go see the meteor shower with devi bhabhi if you want.." He suggested and she nodded
"I'll come downstairs by the time you are leaving.. I've been referring some economical books..." She said as an excuse
"Yeah.. Okay.. Carry on.." He smiled slightly and left
She closed the door from inside.. She sat on her bed with a disappointed expression
She composed herself and went downstairs..
SUBHADRA'S POV.
Arjun was already on his horse when i got downstairs... He gave a smile to me..
I smiled back..
"I've told sanjaya to keep an eye on the subjects.. So you two don't have to stress.. We'll be back soon.." Bhrata Yudishtir said to me and devika jiji..
"We're capable of taking care of a kingdom right subhi?" Devi jiji asked to me with a smile and i nodded with a smile
"Come, let's leave.. We've to reach there by morning.. " bhrata nakul said
"Is kuntibhoj too far from here?" I asked to mata
"Not too far.. But yeah it's far from here.." Mata said.. She was going with them to meet her father..
They left after saying goodbye's.
Arjun gave me a smile before leaving.. I returned it and went inside with prati and jiji..
"Do you know what's the urgent situation in kuntibhoj?" I asked to jiji while helping her to re organise the hall..
"Some kind of family matter.. Nana's getting old.. Maybe he called them to Divide the kingdom.." Devi bhabhi said While Taking out the flowers from the wase
"This white lilies don't look good in white wase..." She said.. It was true..
"Maybe purple lilies will.." I suggested
"That's a good idea.. " she agreed and I Put the Purple one's in the white wase
"Arya had asked me if we wanted to come... But we will be bored in kuntibhoj... The weather is bad in there.. Prathi will caught cold.." She said and i nodded with a smile
"Did you wanna go?" She asked
"No... I'd rather prefer staying here with you and my boy.." I said and she Smiled brightly
We spend all night re organising the palace.. The maids were helping... We changed the curtains.. And relocated the chairs... We completed downstairs by midnight.. I noticed prathi slept on the couch
I went near him and picked him up without waking him... I put him on my bed as we three decided to sleep together..
Then i took a bath and we three slept hugging eachother
The next day we spend our day in organising upstairs.. We completed it by dawn.. Then we were busy in kitchen Preparing new dishes.. It was fun to cook with jiji... She would make something and Feed us both through her hands... Me and prathi were helping her cook
"Chotimaa, can we go outside and play?" He asked me
"Sounds like a bad idea prathi.. it's late night.. You should sleep.." Devi jiji said
"Pleech maa.. I'm not sleepy.." He pouted
"Okay then we can play indoor game.. Like painting.. " she suggested and we both agreed
I Told the maids and Guards to go home and Have rest.. We closed the door after they left and went upstairs..
We three painted together.. It was Amazing.. I was getting a childhood I've always wanted...
We three were having so much fun
In the next morning we received a letter from bhrata yudishtir saying they'll come back after 2 days
That day wasn't fun..Devika jiji was not well... She was staying in her chamber... I was in duty of kitchen..some maids helped me in cooking... After preparing everything i gave jiji a herbal tea.. Prati was sleeping.. I went to my chamber and closed the door.. I was exhausted.. I laid on the bed.. But i wasn't getting any sleep
I missed him.. It's just been two days but i don't know why i miss him this much.. He was in my mind in these past couple of days.. I just want this waiting to be over...
On the fourth day.
I was sitting on the swing placed in the garden watching prati play with some kids
Suddenly devika jiji rushed in there
"I've received a letter from nakul..." She said
"What is it?" I asked getting up from the swing
"There was this girl who's also their cousine.. Her name is Shreya.. And.. She used to have a crush on arjun.. Now she wants to marry him.. She says she's ready to be your co wife.." Devika said making me shocked, sad... And broken
