Mercifully the pond wasn't deep and Vanthiyathevan was already able to climb onto the edge of the pond and was coughing when she sat near him on the ground.

She was only able to whisper a "What?" before she felt his arm around her waist pulling her into a hug much to her surprise and that of her companions who giggled and left the couple to their privacy.
