EVE

"Was that who I think it is?" Diego asked.

I don't respond.

"Fuck. How did he know she was at the hospital?"

"I think the question is, how the fuck did he know that I am his daughter? Ugh!" I dump my phone on the sofa getting hold of the rage I am feeling right now.

"Listen Eve, we need to go save her."

I look at him "We?" I scoff.

He furrow his brows at me "You don't intend to leave her at his mercy do you?"

I shrug as I sit on the sofa and cross my legs.

He clench his jaw, closing his eyes like he is trying to suppress his anger.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?"

I roll my eyes.

"Your mother has been kidnapped and you don't want to do something about it?"

I remain silent.

"You heard all the things she said that man did to her. You and I can imagine what he must be doing to her right now. For pit sake she hasn't recovered from the injury on her head."

I don't say anything as I stare at my fingers.

"Eve!"

I heaved a sigh. "Diego stop being all worked up."

He scoffed. "What?"

I stand on my feet and walk towards him. He is looking straight at me. I seductively place my hands on his sexy chest.

"You know it's been a while since you touched me. Why don't we go up to my room and...."

He cut me off by aggressively moving my hands away from his chest.

"You are indeed a fucking soulless woman" he snarled.

I furrow my brows at him.

"And I regret ever having anything to do with you"

I feel my heart clench.

"Xander and I are going to rescue her. Since her own child has refused to do so" he said looking straight at me with his anger filled grey eyes.

"But do one favour for me, sit down here and let anger and hate consume you but mark my words Eve, it will bring nothing but sadness" with that he picked up his helmet and walked out my door.

I feel my eyes tear up. I sit back down on the sofa. His words keeps repeating itself in my head.

"You are indeed a soulless woman"

Ugh!

Why does it feel like this when it comes to him?

Why?!

"I have your mother. Why don't you come over and join us in our discussion."

"I'll be expecting you. Miha. Ciao"

Why should I save her? Why should I even give a fuck?

The both of them are off no use to me.

She? She left me behind to save herself.

And him? He is a total bastard.

A fucking dog.

He could have killed me if he had the chance.

Just like he did to the ones before me.

The both of them are nothing to me.
