Artemis sighed softly as she sat in a café room her leg bouncing up and down due to her nervousness. She gently checked her phone to see what time it was and it read 12:20. She had ten more minutes until he arrived. She was meeting Apollo today. Persephone still never told her what really went on between her and her brother, so since the punishment has now been lifted she was very nervous, but also determined as she wanted to understand what really had happened between the two of them. She understood that Eros and Daphne knew something that she didn't and hid that information from her. Even Persephone didn't say much and only said that it was hard to come forward about the information that she just couldn't or didn't have the heart tell her. Was it the fact she was Apollo's sister? Or that she knew Apollo more than she knew Persephone? It was all very difficult to find the flaws in this whole situation when she knew nothing. However, now was the time to finally get down to the bottom of things.
The time now read 12:25 and in came the sun god himself into the café. Apollo. He gave his charming smile to people who looked his way. They gushed and whispered praises and admirations about the god. Everything about him oozed power and charisma. He was the golden olympian that everyone on the outside thought of him as perfect and respected. At least, that's how he wished it could be with the gods and goddesses around him now. His perfect image has been tarnished with most of them. The trial didn't go according to his plan. Zeus was meant to give her a light sentence. Something that could be easily monitored so that he could easily clear the air with the goddess of spring so that his and his mother's plan could go accordingly. He was furious that Zeus hadn't just gave her a light smack on the wrists. His relationship with his sister has been tarnished. Hermes won't even speak with him anymore. Hades will never look at him normally even though he suspects that he already didn't like him in the first place do to telling all of the gods and goddesses that he was infertile but, he is still perfect. He is what every god or goddess should be. He wished he could control Persephone's actions. To have her just be a B grade goddess that is just a pretty thing to look at, but no. Turns out she now is queen of the underworld and went toe to toe with Kronos himself? There isn't anything B grade about that he would have to admit. He even saw the recordings that lots of people had gotten of the great battle. She grew to a titan woman size. She was teasing him looking like that as she fought the god of time himself. Did she really need a v-cut dress and gloves that she wore as she fought? It was ridiculous that she didn't side with him and teased him so long like this. She could have had all that and more if she just stood by his side. However, now he has to do damage control, and that first starts with Artemis. He was heartbroken when she left to go to the mortal realm and not stay on Olympus with him and his mother. Their lives were perfect, but it's all Persephone's fault.
Apollo smiled and had tears come to his eyes. "Artemis. I have missed you so much." He states as he raced over and embraced his sister. She was finally back. He could smooth all this over with a simple conversation. Artemis sighs and hugged her brother back. He looked just the same as he did when she had left on their coronation day. "I have missed you too. Though, now we have a lot to discuss today." Artemis said as he pulled away from the embrace. Apollo smiles and nodded. "Of course, you are always one for the rules. Can I get you anything here? It is a lovely little place that sells the best tea in town." He stated and Artemis gave a small smile. "No thank you. Please, sit and let's catch up." She said and Apollo nodded as he sat across from his sister. She smiles looking at him seeing him look at her with his normal perfect smile. He always seemed to be golden. "So...president? You want to be president of Olympus?" Artemis asked and Apollo smiles with that same charming face she always remembered that he would give. "Yeah isn't it great? I have found I quite enjoy the political aspects of things ever since the trial. I have made quite a name for myself and have a great slogan. "Your golden god with provide!" Has a nice ring to it don't you think?" Apollo asked Artemis who smiles a bit, though, she found it odd he even wanted a position like that. Zeus was already the ruler of Olympus. Did Olympus truly need another?
