The Marauders and A Third Black?! (James Potter x reader)

Lily and Alice in trouble, and a lot of hurt feelings

Lyra was walking the corridors late one night, she couldn't sleep apparently, when she heard two girls cry and a male voice laughing.

She snuck closer to the classroom where it all came from and to her horror she recognized the voices of Alice and Lily.

"Let her go you asshole!"

"And why would I do that Evans" a manly voice said

"Because If you don't I'll hex you"

"McNair! Take her wand! Now I did promise Snape that I wouldn't touch you, but if you start it by hexing me, I'm going to have to take my promise back"

Lyra had heard enough, she put on her best Black family sneer and waltzed into the class room, the girls and boys looked at her in shock.

"Black!!!" The male voice who she now saw came from Mulciber said in shock

"That would be Lady Black for you Mulciber! Now what are you guys doing?" She looked at McNair

"We just wanted to have some fun with these mudbloods, it's nothing serious really my lady"

Lyra put on an evil look and looked straight at Mulciber who almost quivered.

"Levave me with the mudbloods!" She hated that word but for this to be believable she had to do it.

Mulciber and McNair said "yes my lady"

And just before they left Mulciber turned to Lyra and said

"Just so you know my Lady, that one" he pointed at Lily "is a friend of Snape's so we aren't allowed to do anything to her"

Lyra looked back at him and said

"Well you can tell Mr Snape that I do not care about what he thinks or says, I do whatever I want and If he has a problem with that he can take it up with me. He shouldn't even be fraternizing with mudbloods to start with"

And with an evil grin and a promise that he would tell Snape that Mulciber had gone, taken McNair with him.
Lyra looked out of the corridor to see if all was clear.
When it was she turned around to the girls and said

"Lily, Alice! Are you guys okay?"

Lily looked at her skeptically and said

"I am, but Alice isn't, they hit her a lot of times, and called her mudblood even though she's half"

"I'm so so sorry Alice! And I'm sorry for the words I used, I had to make it believable

Lily raised her eyebrows an Lyra looked back at her.

"What?!"

"It just sounded as though you use those words often, I mean look at you background, I really don't think Ali and I should be hanging out with you Black!"

Lyras mouth fell open, and she got angry.

"Alright fine Evans! I'll leave you two here then since I'm such a bad person"

And with that she stormed out, and got in to the common room looking extremely upset.

The boys saw her and Sirius went up to her and dragged her into their dorm.

"ce qui s'est passé?" (What happened?)

"rien, j'ai juste eu une petite dispute avec Evans" (nothing, i just had a little fight with Evans)

"Evans what now??"

"Nothing James!" Lyra answered

But all the boys looked at her expectantly.

"merde!" She said and then she told them the whole story.

Both James and Sirius looked disgusted and angry.

"She said 'just look at your background '? What?! I thought she thought I was okay"

" Outrageous! You just saved both her and Alice, why would she say that?!"

"No idea James" Lyra answered truthfully

Remus and Peter just shook their heads. And all of them decided that they needed to think about something else so they walked back down to the common room to do some homework by the fire.

After having been sitting there a while the girls came up to talk to them.

"Hey Sirius" Marlene said with a wink

Sirius didn't answer. Mary tried

"Hello Remus, Hi Peter "

Still no answer.

"Hey Potter!" Lily said

James looked at her but said nothing, then he saw Lily looking at Lyra and rolling her eyes .

"Did you walk up to your boys ans tell them what happened, if they're on your side you must've told the story worng"

And she told the story saying exactly the same thing as Lyra.

"And I just mean that Black here" she pointed at Lyra "was too good and calm to not be actually meaning that, and not to mention that the Slytherins believed her"

Sirius looked up at her and tried not to sound to angry or hurt

"You think that I wouldn't have done and said the same things, you think because Lyra is from my family that she is like them"

"No need to sound hurt Sirius I wasn't talking about you"

"That's the thing though Evans, to say that about Ly is to say it about me. You see we're twins and basically two halves of the same person. And now you've hurt Ly, Wich means you've hurt me. By judging her by our family. So I just don't feel like we need to speak with you girls anything if that is what you truly feel "

"And I do not need to speak or interact with anyone who's hurt Sirius, so yeah move along " James's tone was very angry and serious

The girls looked at Peter ans Remus

"Oh, I'm loyal to James, Lyra and Sirius so I agree with James, we don't want to talk or interact with you" Peter said

Remus just looked very disappointed at the girls and nodded.

The girls walked away angry and chatting animatedly too each other.

"That's gonna be a nice sleeping arrangement for mee" Lyra said sarcastic

"vous pouvez dormir dans notre dortoir"(you can sleep in our dorm)

"mon cher frère, you can't just say that without asking the others!"

"What's can't he say without asking us?"

"I just said that she can sleep in our dorm James "

"Oh yeah, of course you can Ly"

The others agreed. So that night Lyra found herself sharing a bed with her twin like they had done a lot before they went to different schools.

"Je t'ai dit que les garçons t'aimeraient et que tu t'intégrerais bien dans notre groupe" He whispered to her (I told you that the boys would love you, and that you would fit in nice in our group )

"Et encore une fois tu avais bien sûr raison" she smiled and whispered back at him. (and once again you were of course right )

"Je sais! je suis juste incroyable"

"Yes Sirius very amazing"

And with that they fell asleep.
