season one: episode two

"she's talking to the cops" a man shouts as he gestures to addie who was being held up by two big burley men.
"i haven't" addie defends as she tries to break from the grip of the men, "let me go" she groans.
"matteo, has never lied to me, chica" carlos, the mafia boss, informs as he walks up to addie and lifts up her chin, he shakes his head before punching the small blonde around the face.
addie groans as she bites her lip before spitting out some blood that pooled in her mouth, "i haven't lied either" she informs as she lifts her head up slightly.
"i've only known you for four months" carlos tuts as he shakes his head, "take her to the freezer" he orders making addie groan and try and break free from the men again.
"carlos, please, please" addie shouts, "i didn't lie" she cries as she is dragged away and thrown into a small freezer before it is closed and chained shut locking her in.
addie gasps as she launches up from her bed shivering as a cold sweat covers her entire body, she quickly looks around the room feeling around her as she takes slow deep breaths trying to slow her heart rate.
ajax hears his owners panic and jumps onto her lap and circles the place between her legs slightly before laying down with his head on addie's ankle.
addie quickly turns on her bedside lamp and looks around the room worried as she continues to breathe heavily stroking ajax, she groans and picks up her phone before dialling the first number that comes to mind, "hello?" gina groans on the other end as she answers the call.
"gina" addie cries as her breathing continues to increase, the exercises she tried earlier not helping, ajax jumps up and looks at the woman with a small whimper.
"addie?" gina asks her voice full of worry, "what's wrong?" she asks again as addie tries to slow her breathing to try and explain, "no, no, don't talk i'll be there in a minute" gina explains before she hangs up the phone.
addie nods to herself as she holds a blanket around her body as she still shivers while ajax moves closer to her laying his body across her lap, a few seconds later gina rushes into the room and immediately sits behind the girl before holding her in her arms as addie cries.
"just breathe" gina tells her as she pulls addie towards her chest, "it's okay" she soothes as addie struggles to breathe regularly, "you're home" she hums and addie cries as she grabs hold of gina's shirt, "you're okay, you're gonna be okay"
