Your eyes ached form the bright light of your computer. Stupidly, you left your two thousand word essay until the very last minute and we're now trying to write it all less than twelve hours before it was due... You adjusted your posture and sighed, whimpering in annoyance as you struggled to use your brain.

"Just come to bed, it's late.." Yeonjun whines as he leans up against the headboard of your bed. You mumble something inaudible and put your head in your hands. "At least change into something comfortable, or your pyjamas? Come on, babe, I know you need to write that paper but you should relax too. You're clearly stressed."

"I can't... My professor is a bitch, I'll be in so much trouble if I don't submit a decent essay on time. He'll hold a grudge against me forever!"

Yeonjun gets up and walks over to your desk. He wraps his arms around you and looks down at the laptop screen, furrowing his eyebrows as he reads the topic of your essay. "Looks boring." He says, snuggling his chin into the crook of your neck. You hum in response and sigh again. "Anything I can help with, my love?" He asks softly. You shake your head and let out another deep exhale.

Slowly, Yeonjun pulls away and places a gentle kiss on your shoulder before he starts walking towards the door. "Where are you going?" You say with a pout, reaching out your hand to try and bring him back. He leans against the door and smiles warmly. "I left something at my dorm. I promise I'll be right back."

Five minutes later, Yeonjun returns fully dressed in daytime clothes, swinging his car keys around his finger by a keychain. "Let's go out."

"Out?"

"Like a little date! Come on it'll be fun!"

"It's 11:45? And I still haven't made any progress with this homework."

"So?" He shrugs, making his way over to you. "Are there laws against taking my girlfriend on a midnight date? We won't stay out for too long. Quality boyfriend time is the best way to cure stress, you know." He frowns and leans over you, sneakily closing the laptop shut before you can stop him. His fingers intertwine with yours and he tugs on your arm to pull you up from your seat.

Your eyes flicker back and forth from Yeonjun to your desk. You really really wanted to go out with him, but you also really really needed to get your work done. "I don't know, Jun... I don't think I can g-"

You were quickly cut off when Yeonjun wrapped his arms around your waist and picked you up. He carried you out of your room and slammed the door shut. He set you back down on the floor, but still kept a tight grip on your hand. "Well, you're already out of the dorm now... Might as well go get some fresh air?" Accepting your defeat, you rolled your eyes and laughed. "Okay fine. You win." Yeonjun beamed and started running down the hallway, pulling you along with him.

He led you to his car and started to drive after you both buckled up. You tried to ask where he was taking you, but he insisted on keeping it a secret until you arrived. The two of you sat in a comfortable silence, simply enjoying each others company in the quiet of the warm summer night as the radio played on low volume. After some time, you felt Yeonjun's hand creep over to your thigh. He squeezed a tiny bit to grab your attention and you looked over at him, making eye contact as he quickly glanced from the road to your face. "Almost there." He whispers with a smile.

Finally, you arrived at your destination. It just looked like.. a hill? You frown in confusion and look at Yeonjun. He laughs as he watches your head whip around and smirks. "I know what you're thinking. Yes this is actually where I'm taking you. We aren't completely there yet, come on we need to walk up the road a little." He takes your hand in his and starts walking up the hill.

When you reach the peak, it was dark and hard to see due to the only streetlight there being broken. "Ah it's so dark.." You mumble. Yeonjun chuckles and holds your hand tighter. "Whats wrong? Since when have you been of the dark?" He laughs as he leads you over to a railing. You peer over the metal bars to find a beautiful view of your town. The few lights that were still on illuminated the area with a gloomy glow. "Oooh it's so pretty..." You gasp, admiring the scene blow you.
