"Y/N's Pov* 10 Years Ago!*
I walk around Windmill Village, I sat at the docks looking out in the ocean. Then I saw something out in the distance.
'Whats that?' | thought.
I went to look for Luffy I saw him sitting with Makino eating. I smiled at him.
"Makino, Luffy, what's up?" I asked them grinning.
Makino smiled at me Luffy just kept eating. Makino put meat in front of me.
"Thanks!" | said happily.
Luffy tried to steal my food as I slapped his hand away. "OW! N/N!" Luffy whined I looked at him
[N/N stands for Nickname]
"It's what you get for trying to steal my food!" | exclaimed.
I finished eating my food. When the door burst open they looked at the person. Luffy and me are the only ones still eating ignoring the person.
"LUFFY! Y/N!" the person said. I flinched and paled with Luffy.
"G-Grandpa Garp. " | said I looked at Luffy.
"RUN!" We yelled together and ran outside with Garp chasing us.
*No one's Pov*
"What I'm saying is Grandpa.." Luffy struggled bouncing. "I'll become King of the Pirates and N/N will be on my crew!..." Luffy said.
"Cut the crap!" Garp said while holding Luffy on the cheek. Y/N was hanging off Garps shoulder.
"L-Let us go!" Y/N said struggling to get out of his grip.
"Let us go!.. Let us go!" Luffy and Y/N said in unison.
Luffy started smacking Garps leg.
"On top of eating a Devil Fruit, you're talking nonsense!" Garp said. He looked at Luffy.
"Luffy! You, Ace and Y/N have to become the strongest Navy soldiers!" Garp exclaimed.
"Ow, ow, ow, dammit! My body is made of rubber but why is it painful?! Let us go Grandpa!" Luffy said.
"It was a mistake to leave you two in Windmill Village! Of all things, you both like pirates?! What fools!" Garp said while Luffy was holding on a tree.
"You can't make friends with "Red-Haired" Shanks!" Garp said still walking. The tree began to break.
"We wanna become..." Y/N started the tree broke and hit Garp causing to let both Luffy and Y/N go. " strong like Shanks!" Luffy finished. "Hey!" Garp yelled.
We kept walking with Luffy and Y/N holding hands. They kept walking up the mountains and there was a medium sized house surrounded by a forest/jungle. Luffy and Y/N looked at the house with interest.
"What's this place?" Luffy said as he let go of Y/N's hand.
Luffy ran around the house.
Y/N watching him closely as she felt someone staring at her she turned around and saw a boy with freckles giving her a death glare.
They looked at each other Y/N looking at him in confusion and the freckled boy with a death glare. She looked at Luffy again. Garp grabbed the helm of Luffy's and Y/N's shirt
"Look after them to. Hey Luffy, Y/N, say "Hi" to them." Garp said
Luffy looked up "Yo!"Luffy said
"Hey." Y/N said looking at them.
