Ema's friend, Endou Komari, pays a visit to them late at night carrying a paper bag.

Ema has known Komari since university. She is a yuri mangaka and she once interviewed Aira to get material for one of her stories.

From the paper bag, she pulls out three volumes of manga with cute girls on the cover.

"These are...?"
"I finished the manga based on Aira-chan and Ema."

The manga apparently reflects the contents of that interview. Komari goes on to explain that it has been well-received.

Aira picks up the manga and starts flipping through it while feeling embarrassed.

"Since it got popular, I could get three volumes published. I really have to thank you two."

Although the names have been changed, the girls that the story revolves around certainly resemble Aira and Ema.

This is a love story between a strong-willed high school girl and a sexy older woman.

On the last page of the third and final volume, those two are smiling happily while wearing wedding dresses.

"...So it's a happy ending."

Aira secretly rejoices.
She had been feeling a little anxious that it might have a bad end.

"Do you want to read it as well, Ema?"
"I have to start streaming now."

After telling them to take their time, Ema leaves the room.

Now that only Aira and Komari are left in the room, Komari puts her hands together apologetically.

"I'm sorry I modeled the characters after you two without permission. I'll make sure to make it up to you somehow."
"Don't worry about it. I'm kind of happy you did."

Though the names and events in the story are different, the story based on the two of them concluded with the happiest of endings.

"Since Ema and I are both women... I think we'll have more hardships than a heterosexual couple..."

Aira stares at the two characters in their wedding dresses.

When she was a little girl, Aira harbored a desire to someday have a wedding with the person she loves.

Now that she has gotten older, she has already found the person her heart is set on.

In the distant future, Ema will undoubtedly look absolutely stunning wearing a wedding dress for her marriage.

Aira definitely will not allow anyone else to have the position next to Ema when the time comes.

"...This is your dream, isn't it, Aira-chan?"
"Eh...?"
"Having a wedding with the person you love."

When she wondered why Komari knew that, Komari pulls out a tablet from her tote bag.

"This is from the interview I had with you back then."

At first, Aira answered the questions verbally. However, as she gradually got more embarrassed, they later switched to having her write her answers in a questionnaire.

Two years ago, Aira had indeed written, "Having a wedding with the person I love," in the dreams for the future section.
