The barrier shimmered with impenetrable energy, pulsating with the remnants of Eclipse's dark magic. Moon could sense the lingering malevolence, but he refused to let it deter him. He knew that their love and determination could overcome any obstacle.
Moon raised the celestial key, its glow intensifying as it resonated with the barrier. A surge of energy coursed through him, empowering his actions. With a steady hand, he inserted the key into the heart of the barrier, and a brilliant burst of light erupted, engulfing the chamber.
As the light subsided, the barrier shattered into a thousand shards, dissolving into nothingness. Moon's heart soared with hope as he gazed upon the sight before him.
There stood Sun, pale and weakened, but their eyes sparkled with gratitude and relief. Moon rushed forward, embracing them tightly, feeling the warmth of their presence fill the void in his heart.
MOON: SUN!
SUN: MOONY!
MOON: Thank fuck! I finally found you! I'm never letting you again for the love of me. . .
Moon said as he tightened his grasp on Sun, Sun smiled weakly as he clung onto Moon tightly and cried into his chest
SUN: I-I was so scared. . .I couldn't find you a-and Eclipse he. . .
MOON: It's alright Sunny, I'm here. . .I won't leave you
Moon said as he kissed Sun on the forehead, smiling happily to be reunited with his lover.
The rest of the glamrocks joined in the joyous reunion, surrounding Sun with hugs and words of comfort. Eclipse's grip had been broken, and they had triumphed against all odds.
As they prepared to leave the chamber, Moon couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions—relief, gratitude, and a lingering sense of unease. While they had rescued Sun but Eclipse still lingered somewhere in the shadows, a constant threat that needed to be confronted.
But for now, they cherished their victory, basking in the glow of love and triumph. Together, they made their way back through the winding maze, their steps lighter and their spirits higher.
Their journey was far from over, but with their unwavering bond and the power of their love, Moon and the glamrocks were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. The world outside awaited their return, and they were determined to bring light and hope to all who needed it.
