[This chapter will be in Austyn's POV]

Just like any other Sunday, Austyn is playing football with his younger brothers, he had that reputation of an "older brother" that he wishes not to ruin. He finished an online interview just yesterday by filling out an online document that was required for him which he filled eventually after researching about it, he had to make sure the website wasn't cheating him. Until now he couldn't forget about the interview, countless questions popped up in his head every minute, distracting him from the game he was playing with his siblings.

"Guys! I'm sorry I'm not focused, maybe next time, hm?" he walked over to his younger brothers and caressed their shoulders. "Sorry boys." he said, smiling softly at them as they nodded. He heads back into the house where he smells the scent of pancakes coming from the kitchen "Mom!? Are you making pancakes!?" he asked excitedly, his mother laughed "Call your brothers for breakfast." Austyn and his family sat at the dining table as they ate their breakfast before his father spoke.

"Son, have you got any news on that job you applied for?" his father asked before taking another bite of his food. Austyn cleared his throat before speaking "N-no father." he said as he tried to avoid eye contact.

"again?" his father said in frustration. "... son.. why don't you just-" "Don't start father... please, you know my answer is no" Austyn spoke before his father could finish.

"I've always wanted to go to New York City and start working there, you know it's what I've always wanted, I really think I'd be unhappy if I started work here in Minnesota." Austyn explained. "What makes you so unhappy, son? you have your family here, your mother and your brothers-" His father tried convincing. "I know Dad, I know and I'm very very grateful, I love you guys so much but it's not like I'm never coming back, I'll come and stay for the holidays." Austyn replied, also trying to convince.

"Do you have to go?" his younger brother asked as he looked up at him. Austyn gave him a sad smile "Surely you won't miss me, will you Izick Nielson? I've annoyed you enough now, haven't I?" he chuckled.

"yeah, but that doesn't mean I hate you..." Izick made it clear that he didn't want Austyn to leave but he knew there was no use in convincing him, he should do as he pleases because he's an adult after all. "I didn't say anything about hating me, I just mean... You know what, I'll come annoy you on the holidays how about that?" Izick lets out a chuckle "promise?" he asks as he lefts his little pinky finger up to lock the promise, Austyn giggled before he locked his pinky with his little brother's "promise."  Austyn promises.

"You too brandy." Austyn says as he looks over to his other little brother who's crying "Brandy..." Austyn hugs his brother and pats his back gently "Don't cry now buddy, I promise you, I'll be back to play football with you before you even know it." Austyn knew he couldn't keep the promise but he wants to try his best to keep it and never forget them, his family means a lot to him.

he breaks the hug to look at his brother "Come on, show me that smile!" Austyn says as he smiled at Brandy. "Go on... bring that smile out! Come on!" he cheers as he held Brandy's little hands. Austyn started to tickle Brandy causing him to burst into laughter, his parents watched them with sad smiles knowing it'll be hard for twins to not see their older brother for a whole year since Christmas is now over.
