The next day Rogan arrived at the office to find out Austyn's desk was empty, of course, he'd leave. he wasn't surprised. But he hated how quiet the office was, just a couple of minutes passed and he already started to miss his presence, he remembered the fun time they had together in his music room and laughed to himself like an insane man. Henrik would come to check on Rogan from time to time to see if he had received any news on who might've written the article but til now, nothing.

"Have you seen Mr. Neilson, today?" Rogan asks the female worker he called to his office "I have seen him come into your office and leave with a box sir." she answers "Very well, you're dismissed." He replies, sighing. 'what can I do to bring him back?' he thought as he spaced out while staring at the undone papers on his desk, he completely forgot about work, but he couldn't care less, he thought getting Austyn back was more important.

and after so much thinking he finally gave up, what could he do? go to his place? he doesn't know the address. Call him? he doesn't have his number. Write and send him in his employee email? ...maybe. Rogan grabbed his laptop and started writing the email, he wrote the first sentence and deleted it, wrote a different one, and deleted it again, apparently they weren't good enough. He huffed as he got off his chair, frustrated. "why am I even trying? I shouldn't concern myself with him." Rogan said to himself.

He sat back down and started working, until finally when work was over with no assistance available, he was a bit tired but it was over. He sighed and started gathering his belongings, He glanced over at the desk that Austyn's used to sit in. He walked over to it and examined everything, he noticed a note attached to the computer, picked it up, and read it. "Stupid Rogan fucking stupid Rogan didn't even say hi or ask how my date went, can you believe it!? I hate this job, I hate this work, I hate this place and I fuckin hate him!!" Rogan laughed as he thought 'That's very much Austyn's note.' he smiled and folded the note, shoving it into his pocket before leaving the office.

On the way home Rogan thought of the diner, it was like an epiphany finally came to him.

{The Diner, 8:34 PM}

Rogan entered the diner and slowly walked in, searching for who he was hoping to "accidentally" see, Austyn. As he walked further inside he finally saw him, his lips curved in satisfaction as he saw Austyn alone as well, that "Ex" of his isn't with him. He took a deep breath before walking over to him "Austyn." Rogan called to which Austyn replied "Rogan?" Rogan was taken aback, he knows him by just his voice now? "you better come up with a good excuse." Austyn said, sounding annoyed and tired. He continued eating his food.

Rogan grew disappointed in what Austyn said, he sat in front of him "Listen... I didn't write this." Rogan says 'as if he's gonna believe that! nice try Rogan.' he thought to himself. Austyn sighs "Oh no, Mr. Clifton! Of course, you didn't!" Austyn replied sarcastically. "Austyn, I'm not lying, I promise you, I did not touch one keypad for that article. If I were to write an article I wouldn't have included anyone because I only write if it's about my product." Rogan explained.

"My career is ruined thanks to you, Rogan. I hope you're happy with your "revenge" I hope it changed something in your life cause it certainly did with mine." Austyn said as he looked Rogan in the eyes, he looked somewhat concerned, for a mere moment, Austyn thought maybe Rogan was telling the truth. Rogan however, was speechless. He didn't know how else to explain he was telling the truth "Austyn I swear to you, it wasn't me!" Rogan says, starting to feel frustrated. Austyn gets off his chair and places his money on the bill, walking away as if Rogan no longer existed.
