Ever since that day everything between Malfoy and me has returned to normal,  he was still is arrogant and rude self not much to my surprise. however what happened at three broomsticks was a peculiar moment that left me with a mixture of hope and confusion.

For a brief period it felt as if we had finally broken the ice and perhaps even established some common ground or understanding. But it soon became apparent that Malfoy had other intentions.

"Why do you keep staring over there?" Luna asked, her curious tone pulling me out of my thoughts. I blinked momentarily disoriented before turning to face her. Her wide dreamy eyes were fixed on the empty space behind me where Malfoy had taken his seat.

It was then that I realized my gaze had unconsciously drifted towards him, lost in a cascade of conflicting emotions and thoughts.

A blush crept onto my cheeks as I struggled to find the right words. Luna's observant nature never failed to catch me off guard, and her ability to see beyond the surface often unnerved me. She had a unique way of perceiving the world seeing connections and truths that eluded others. With her ethereal presence and whimsical demeanor Luna was a refreshing contrast to the rigid realities of Hogwarts.

"My eyes were just wandering," I stammered, trying my best to deflect Luna's inquiry with a weak smile. I knew her well enough to understand that she could see right through me, but surprisingly, she didn't seem bothered by my vague response.

As I looked towards the door, my attention was immediately drawn to the sound of heels clicking against the stone floor. A figure draped in pink fabric waltzed into the room, and my eyes rolled instinctively before I could even process who it was.

"What is Umbridge doing here?" I whispered to Luna, the disdain evident in my voice. She glanced at me  her expression mirroring my own concerns, and shrugged in response.

Dolores Umbridge, with her sickly sweet smile and oppressive authority was a force to be reckoned with. Her presence alone was enough to send Shivers down my spine knowing the torment she had inflicted on students and teachers alike.

Hogwarts had never been the same since she had been appointed High Inquisitor, her every move driven by a desire to assert control and impose her twisted version of discipline.

As Umbridge made her way through the room a wave of unease settled over us like a heavy fog. Her pink-clad form stood in stark contrast to the vibrant hues of the Hogwarts surroundings, a reminder of the darkness she carried within.

It was as if a cloud of apprehension had descended upon the atmosphere, casting a shadow over our every thought and movement.

Luna and I exchanged a knowing glance, our worry silently communicated. We had witnessed firsthand the cruelty and injustice that Umbridge was capable of. The scars from her reign of terror still lingered, etched into the very fabric of Hogwarts. To see her back within these hallowed halls stirred up memories of fear and resistance.

"Hello class," Umbridge's sickly sweet voice rang out  accompanied by a smile that sent shivers down my spine. I couldn't help but roll my eyes in response the gesture hidden behind a veil of thinly veiled contempt.

It was clear to me that Umbridge embodied the kind of authority figure who would relish in using the Cruciatus Curse for the smallest infractions, like the sound of a pencil dropping during silent reading.

"From now on ill be your new defense against the dark arts teacher" As she began her lesson, her demeanor radiated a false sense of warmth and cheer an attempt to mask the iron fist she wielded beneath her pink exterior. The room seemed to shrink in her presence, the air growing heavy with an unspoken tension.
