Malfoy
The mere thought of him sent a shiver down my spine, a mixture of anger, hurt intertwining within me. After what had transpired, my eyes refused to meet his, unable to bear the weight of the emotions that surged through my veins.
During quidditch, unspoken tension camaraderie that once filled the air were replaced by an awkward silence. I couldn't bring myself to look in his direction, fearing that our eyes would lock, forcing me to confront the hurt that resided deep within my soul.
In class the atmosphere became stifling, the room seemingly closing in on me. The mere sight of him, sitting there so nonchalantly, brought back memories to the closest now every stolen glance or accidental brush of his arm felt like a cruel reminder of his rejection.
Months had passed since that day, and yet Malfoy remained a silent figure in my life. Not a single word had passed between us, and it was clear that any hope of breaking the ice had faded into the abyss. To make matters worse news had spread like wildfire that Malfoy had officially entered into a relationship with Pansy Parkinson.
As the holiday season approached, I resolved to do everything in my power to banish thoughts of Malfoy from my mind. I wanted to enjoy the festivities, embrace the joy and warmth that surrounded me, and create new memories that didn't involve him. It was time to heal the wounds that his presence had inflicted and move forward.
I threw myself into the whirlwind of holiday preparations, immersing myself in the joyous chaos that accompanied this time of year. The halls of Hogwarts were adorned with colorful decorations, the scent of evergreen and cinnamon filling the air. Friends gathered, laughter echoed through the corridors, and the spirit of celebration became infectious.

As I continued walking, I heard a familiar voice call out my name with urgency. "Irene, wait up!" The voice belonged to Harry, causing an infectious smile to spread across my face. With a slight turn, I met his gaze and replied, "Hello Harry."
Caught in the moment, I couldn't resist the pull of his presence. As I turned back around to resume my path, I noticed Harry walking backward in front of me, his eyes locked onto mine. It was an impressive sight, as if he wanted to ensure our connection remained unbroken.
His steps were confident and fluid, effortlessly navigating the world in reverse. The people passing by couldn't help but turn their heads, intrigued by this unexpected display. Their curious gazes only added to the aura of enchantment surrounding us.
"How are you doing?" he asked, a playful push to my shoulder accompanying his question. I couldn't help but laugh, the lightness of his touch warming my heart. "I'm doing fine," I replied, my voice carrying a genuine sense of contentment. Then, curiosity took hold, and I added, "Any plans for the holidays?"
He paused for a moment, his piercing gaze meeting mine with a flicker of contemplation. The weight of his unspoken thoughts hung in the air, leaving me both intrigued and apprehensive
"Im not sure" he said as he looked at me with a slight smile
"It is weird seeing Hogwarts so empty," he finally spoke, his voice tinged with a hint of nostalgia. His words resonated with my own sentiments, echoing the quiet melancholy that had settled upon the familiar halls of our beloved school.
I met his gaze, acknowledging his observation with a subtle nod. The absence of the usual hustle and bustle, the laughter and camaraderie that once filled these halls, left an indescribable void.
