The stranger leaned forward, his eyes narrowed. "But you are not without hope," he continued. "The gods have heard your prayers and seen your dedication to your craft. They have decided to offer you a deal. You may continue to spin and weave the fates of mortals and gods alike, but in exchange, you must agree to one condition."

All three sisters leaned forward, eager to hear what the stranger had to say. It was rare for the gods to show any interest in the affairs of the Moirai, much less offer them a deal.

"What is the condition?" asked Selene.

"The condition is that you must one day meet a mortal who can spin and weave better than you," the stranger replied. "If such a mortal should come along, you must step aside and allow them to control the fates."

The sisters fell silent, considering the stranger's words. It was a risk, to be sure, but they knew that the gods were not one to make empty threats. And yet... there was something else at stake as well.

"What if we do not agree?" asked Cresentia finally.

"Then the gods will send a force to destroy you, and the tapestry of fate will be untangled," the stranger replied. "Your legacy will be lost to time, and the fates of mortals and gods alike will be left to chance."

At this, the sisters exchanged a long look. They knew that this was a risk they could not afford to take. With a somber nod, they accepted the gods' deal, knowing that their fate was now tied to the fate of the mortal who would one day spin and weave the tapestry of life better than they ever could.
