if you've made it to this chapter you're automatically coolio !!!
also like i kinda forgot that macaque supposedly didnt know chang'e in the earlier chapters oopsies but yk hes old so like bro forgor😹😹Today seemed quite bittersweet.
At least for me, only bitter because my body hurt.
I'm uneasy and shakey, very touchy.Chang'e served breakfast, they both finished way before me.
They watched as I ate, I could tell Chang'e was a bit tense.
Remembering that time made me tense too.I just felt too sick to eat.
Eating those waffles made me want to vomit.
They weren't bad, I just hate the idea of food.
I don't like feeling like shit but I can't eat.“Hey, Mac, have you had any medicine yet...?”
Sun asked, tilting his head with curiousity.“Uh, no...?”
I wasn't told I needed to take medicine.“Well that's why you feel like shit.”
He seemed a bit proud making that statement, as if for once he was right.“I suppose. What medicine is there though?”
Sun seemed to think for a second, searching for something in his little mind.“I dunno? Maybe Antidepressants–?”
He wasn't exactly wrong.
It may help.“Well, see, there's just kne problem with that idea.”
He looked at me, really confused.“I don't have antidepressants. Check the bathroom cabinets– I don't have any medicines back there.”
“What do you mean you don't have medicine back there—?”
He giggled, looking directly at me.“Like, I don't have any medicine.”
Chang'e and him kinda just looked at me for a minute.“Not one?”
They said, almost in sync.Chang'e shoves the rest of the clutter I had in my large in the corner cabinet back inside, then closes the door with a jolt.
She reaches inside her pocket, pulling out a bottle of pills.
“Here, Look, Macaque.”
She holds the bottle out towards me.“This is medicine.”
She tucks the medicine back in her pocket, the sighs.“And you need medicine.”
She runs her fingers through her hair, then looks at Sun.“He's had checkups at the hospital, right?”
Sun shrugs, then looks at me.“...No? Why would I do that-”
They stare at me with horror.“...Guys??”
They continue staring at me, concerned.“Dudee...”
Chang'e shakes her head, rubbing the corners of her eyes.“I live on the moon yet I still get regular hospital visits... On the moon.”
Sun stares blankly at the wall, not saying anything.Chang'e and I watch Sun for a few minutes, then glance back at each other.
“Uh.”
She very slowly blinked.“Well, he's your boyfriend, have fun.”
I started at her, my face turning red.“Not that kind of fun smart-ass.”
She snickered, then started to walk away.“Wh-what-!? Why would- CHANG'E???”
I tried to run after, but in the process I collapsed to the ground.“Ow.”
“Awe shit, that must've hurt.”
She helps me up as Sun comtinues to stare at the wall.“Oh, I'm gonna try to find you medicine by the way.”
She took one more look at me, then laughed.“Try not to break your bones while I'm gone, will ya?”
I groaned angrily, then chuckled a bit.I sat back on the bed, watching Sun.
He seems so dazed, his posture is straight and he barely blinks.I hug him from behind and nibble his ear, but he doesn't react at all.
I fluff up his hair– trying to get some reaction of sort out of him.
Usually, it makes him mad when his hair is messed with, but he still has not one reaction.“Heyy~ Wukonngg~"
I whisper into his ear, hands on his shoulder. He jumps and turns around, all flustered.
“Aw~ You look so cute when you're flustered.”
He starts to stutter, trying to come up with a well put reply.“W-w-well. You- you... you... you.... yooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.... aree very Mac today.”
“I-I mean pretty today-”
