I went back to my room and layed on my bed thinking of what to say to cole

Chris: hey
Cole:hey who is this?
Chris:it's Chris
Cole:oh hey
Chris:I wanted to ask you something
Cole:okay go ahead
Chris:well do you think we Can meet in person?
Cole:sure I'll swing by at around 1:00
Chris:okay thank you
Cole:no problem
I rushed to go shower and get ready it was already 11:00am so I had 2 hours to get ready.
1:00pm
I'm sitting in the living room waiting for cole to text me or something when Matt walks in
"Hey"he says waving at me
"Hi"I responded
"Can I ask you something Chris?"
He say is a questionable tone
"Sure"I say
"Why did you tell cole to meet you in person?"
He asked
"Oh I just wanted to...get to know him because I wanna know who my brother is getting with"
That was a total lie
"Oh okay we'll have fun then"he said walking back to his room
"Thanks I will"I said
Cole had texted
Cole:hey I'm outside
Chris:okay
I walked outside and approached his car
"Hey"he said
"Sup"I responded
"So where do you wanna go?"he asked
"Let's go get some food if that's alright?"I suggested
"Sure"he said as he started the car
We ended going to McDonald's and just eating in the parking lot
"So I wanted to ask you something"I said quickly
"Okay"he said putting down his drink
"Why do you like Matt?"I asked
"Well idk he's cute and funny and sweet"
"So am I"I thought inside my head
"Oh so you like really like him?"
"Yea I really do"
"Okay good to know"
We finished our food and he dropped me off at home
"So how did it go?"matt asked excitedly
"It was good he really liked you"I said looking down
"You okay Chris?"matt asked in a worried tone
"Yea just tired I'm gonna go take a nap"I said heading to my room
Truth is that I wasn't tired just upset I mean I like a boy who likes my brother what am I supposed to do now?I can't try to get with cole Matt would hate me.I can't tell anyone because then they will tell Matt. Whatever I'll just forget about it.
