AINSLEY WALKER / FIRST PERSON

Summer ending is probably my way of saying i'm ready to end my life.

I am not prepared for junior year because I will be so eager to just finish school even though I will have a year left.

I cannot stand my friends. I am not even sure I would call them my friends. They are so full of themselves and we don't even have the same interests. They don't even understand me for what I am.

For the most part, I am happy I don't have classes with most of them. But that means I actually have to meet new people.

I pushed my way through the crowded and smelly hallways in order to get to my first period.

Because it is the first day they are giving us a free pass for being late due to some people being clueless.

Usually on the first day we spend the hour trying to get to know each other. Fortunately, I had my friend Cora in that class so I wasn't fully alone. I'm not best friends with her but it's better than nothing.

After 30 minutes of talking, Mr. Ram decided to put "Finding Nemo" on the projector and have us write down 5 things that we can relate to from the movie.

Weird but better than actual work.

I started to get bored so I sketched out the girl next to me. She had long red hair which sat on her back. She also has this cute little button nose with a stud piercing.

I got so lost into thought that i didn't realize that i was staring at her.

"Do i know you from somewhere?"

"I-uh no, I don't think so."

"My names Taylor what's yours?" she says as she sticks our her hand for me to shake.

"I'm Ainsley." I take her hand and shake it.

they're so soft oh my gosh

"Whatcha drawing?" She asks while snatching my paper.

this couldn't get anymore embarrassing

"Um it's nothing"

She pulls away as I try to grab the paper away from her.

"Woah." She pauses. "This is really good, is it me?"

"Thanks, and yes it is. I got lost into thought and I guess you were the person I drew." I shrugged the situation off.

"You have talent Walker."

how does she know my last name?

"I am keeping this, this is amazing."

ding. ding. ding.

"See ya Walker!" She smiles as she grabs her bright blue backpack.
