Izuku VS Class 1A and 1B Civil War

Prep Day 3

Izuku slept through the night, no nightmares or memories. He was thankful for that. He got up at 6am instead of 5 so he would have a decent amount of sleep. He got dressed and got his backpack with the capture weapon and his notebook. He goes down stairs and sees everyone is up. They all noticed him, but he ignored them. He went to the kitchen, grabbed an apple and a bottle of water again, and left the dorms. As he was leaving, he saw the rulebook out on the table and a bunch of papers scattered across the table. He chuckled a bit because he knew Katsuki considered him dangerous, but the looks on the others face were of disbelief. Izuku goes to the teacher's lounge and finds All Might with Midnight, aka Nemuri Kayama, and Present Mic, aka Hizashi Yamada. Izuku bows to them and asks for permission to leave campus. They grant it and he bows before leaving.

He gets to the abandoned warehouse again and practices with the capture weapon. He even makes new ways to use and hold the weapon to do different things. At noon, he finds a vending machine near the abandoned district and gets a back of chips before going back to practicing. When he starts back up, he decides to practice using the capture weapon to jump from roof to roof of each warehouse. When it starts getting dark, he heads to a less populated area of the city to practice his parkour on the rooftops. His alarm goes off again and he starts heading back to the school. When he gets there, he goes straight to the dorms.

When he arrives at the dorms, about half the class is still awake, including Katsuki. He tries to go straight to his dorm, but is stopped by Uraraka.

Uraraka: Hey Izuku! How are things going?

Izuku: Things are going just fine. I have been really busy.

Uraraka: Do you want to hangout with us tomorrow? The rest of the Dekusquad is going to a new cafe close to the school.

Izuku: Sorry Uraraka-san, but I am really busy getting things prepared for the exam. What about you guys? What are you guys planning?

Uraraka: Oh, well we are just-...

Iida: Uraraka! We cannot tell Midoryia what we have planned! It would compromise the task of capturing him in the exam!

Uraraka: Oh, right! Sorry.

Izuku (thinking): Dang it. I would have learned everything from the horses mouth, oh well. I still have my drone footage.
(Speaking): Well, I better get going, I want to make sure I have everything done, you know?

Uraraka: Oh, okay Deku! We'll see you later, goodnight!

Izuku waving as he walks upstairs: Goodnight to you guys too!

When he gets to his room, he sits at his desk and reviews everything he has so far. After a couple of hours going over his stuff, he hears a knock at the door. He hides his plans and such and opens the door. He comes face to face with Katsuki who walks in and closes the door behind him.

Izuku with a small sparkle in his eyes and slight blush on his cheeks: What are you doing here Kacchan? You would normally be asleep by now. Is something wrong?

Katsuki: I noticed at night that you sometimes don't go to sleep until really late. Why is that?

Izuku (thinking): I can't tell him, he'll think I'm weak and won't love me. (Speaking): I don't know what you're talking about Kacchan. Unless you mean since the exam has started, then that is because I want to make sure everything I have planned is perfect.

Katsuki (thinking): He is over explaining. That means he is either anxious or lying to me. (Speaking): Izuku... Please don't lie to me. Why can't you sleep at night?

Izuku (thinking): Of course he knows I'm lying, just because he was bullying me back then, doesn't mean that he wasn't watching out for me. He probably learned what my tells are. (Speaking): I don't want you to think any less of me than you already might-...

Katsuki kisses Izuku to make him stop talking bad about himself. He holds it for a minute and then separates from Izuku, who is out of breath.

Katsuki: I will never let you belittle yourself again. You are an amazing person who deserves the world. I will never think less of you if you have a problem. I want to be here for you. Even though the exam has pinned us against each other, it forced me to come clean with you because I already wanted to and because I knew how being pinned against everyone in both classes would cause you to think. I want to make sure you are okay.

Izuku, clinging to Katsuki's night shirt, starts crying into his chest. He starts to feel weak in his legs and grips tighter. Katsuki sees this and picks him up. He walks over to the bed and lays down with Izuku on top of him. Izuku falls asleep from crying and Katsuki follows suit. They sleep through the night, Izuku having no nightmares.
