Creatures of the night

Chapter 3- The girl from the woods.

"What the- I-" he stumbles over his words as he tries figuring out the situation.

"How did you get in here...?" Daniels voice shakes a little as he stares at her and she takes a step into the room closing the curtains, he quickly grabs the remote to call the nurse

"Don't push that button." Her voice is stern yet non threatening.

"Give me one good reason why!"

"I know what's going on with you." her voice sounds sincere and Daniel lowers the remote slightly and stares at her.

Her purple turtle neck seems too big of a size for her but she balances it out with a long brown plaid skirt that goes up to her ankles as well as white leg warmers with off brand purple shoes that look like converse but aren't quite.

"How can I trust you.? What if you're some crazy stalker who's hunting my mom down.." he raises his thumb to push the button "I barley know you. Actually- I don't know you!" He presses the button twice and looks up to find her.. gone?

"Yes Daniel?" A nurse says peaking her head through the curtain.

"I- there was this girl in my room.." he's taken aback..

"Hm." The nurse gives him a look he knows too well..

"I- I'm not crazy!"

The nurse smiles softly and closes the curtains, Daniel sits there for a few minutes glances up and.. she's back?

"Listen here you-!"

He feels a stack of papers hit in lap.

"No.. no way." He looks down at the file labeled 10/17/84, his hands trembling as he opens it.. "how- how did you"...

"I know a lot more than you think" she smiles and walks over to him. Daniel flips through the file as pictures of child him in the hospital are pinned and documents of the hospital check ups..

"I- I- did you stea-? Were you the one who stole some files? Last night..? Maria was it?"

Maria looks at Daniel and sighs "Sirona."

"Huh?"

"My name is Sirona.."

"Like the goddess?"
She nods.
"Hm."
