Happy Ending

A helicopter lands on a helicopter pad. The strong propellers come to a stop; Seungcheol, Soonyoung, and Jihoon exit the aircraft. Once the three men exit, the pilot salutes them off before returning to their own station.

"Welcome back!" Jeonghan runs and jumps onto Seungcheol, nuzzling his face all over the leader. The oldest holds the omega tightly and lifts him up, spinning both of them in a circle.

"I missed you," He presses a kiss on the top of the younger's forehead.

Nine more people walk up to the four rejoiced men.

"It's great to see it all went well," Wonwoo greets the returning leaders. Soonyoung rubs his nape, a little sleepy and sore from the long ride back home. They were gone for about two weeks, going to three different locations; Japan, Malaysia, and Taiwan.

"Yeah... I'm going to need a whole day of sleep, guys." Soonyoung complains, stretching his neck. Chan appears behind the leader of the cavalries, grabbing his head and stretching his neck in every direction. The alpha is screaming, demanding the maknae to let go before the beta decapitates him.

"All of you are too noisy..." Jihoon tries to readjust his hearing after the helicopter ride. But the loud propellers could never beat his loud boyfriend's obnoxious voice. Suddenly, he's engulfed in a gigantic, warm hug. It doesn't take long for the omega to register who's squeezing the life out of him when he gets a whiff of peonies.

"Jihoon!!!" Junhui giggles when he hears the shorter scowl. But the instructor can't refuse a happy hug from the taller. He hugs the latter back with a discreet smile.

"Junhui, are you even gaining weight?" The younger scolds. He's poking at the waist of the omega, earning a squeak. The Chinese male pulls away with a scandalous pout.

"How dare you ask me that! I'm eating as much as I can!" He huffs. Minghao, Seungkwan, and Joshua laugh. "Not even a 'hello', but you're talking about my well-being?!" The omega's boyfriend is prying the fuming man away from Jihoon who smiles in endearment. "Everyone treats me like I'm five!" Minghao is trying his best to pacify the fussing man.

"We're just looking out for you, Junnie." The alpha coaxes the latter.

The younger omega walks up to Junhui who's stuck in Minghao's hold; Jihoon pats his head. "Very well then, it's nice to see you too," The instructor replies. He giggles when the older sticks his tongue out at him.

"Well, he's not lying, Hyung." Seungkwan cocks his head back at the omega who's trying to fight out of Minghao's hold. "He's been really good at looking after himself when I'm not around." The youngest instructor cackles.

Thunk!

A shoe hits Seungkwan's head, the younger cries out in pain before glaring at Junhui. The older smiles mischievously, but it soon fades when Seungkwan marches over, Minghao holding him down. Junhui is in shock, betrayal coming from his mate. "HaoHao!! Wait- let me go!!!" He screeches. The instructor comes over and tickles the life out of the older omega.

"Yeah, he gets very hungry after training from Chan. There's a tiny bit of progress from the past year now." Joshua shrugs and hugs Jihoon. The younger smiles and nods in agreement.

"I just like seeing him be himself again." The two smirk knowing that Jihoon just said things to rile up the Chinese omega. Another year has passed and Junhui has successfully recovered from catatonia and the physical trauma to his body. They've slowly reintroduced him to the new policies and concepts. Training is tiring for a man who hasn't been active for five years! (He doesn't think cheating with his capabilities would do him better.) So he typically alternates between the cavalry and reconnaissance teams. However, Chan is desperate and determined for Junhui to stay on the cavalry team, and Junhui wants to help make the maknae's wish come true. While Seungkwan is fighting for Junhui's undivided attention from his two favorite dongsaengs.
