10) Closer To Me

"You're coming with me on a mission." Chan said when he called 2 hours ago. This was probably his second mission after the fight with Chan 3 days ago. Why Chan was coming with him was a mystery to him.

He was on his way to the agency building when he spotted Jeongin also going in the same direction. He called out his name and caught up to him.

"Hey Felix. What's up?" Jeongin said as they both went through security together taking of their gear etc.

"Nothing really. Got a mission with Chan." He said putting his gear back on.

"With Chan? What do you mean?" Jeongin asked doing the same.

"I mean Chan wants me to go on a mission with him. It that weird. I mean we went together on one before too." Felix replied, both of them walked to the lounge area now.

"Kind of yeah. Chan never goes on missions, let alone with any agents. His only job is giving orders." That's weird, why does Chan want to go with him then.

"I'll see you round, I have to meet someone. You better tell me how the mission goes." Jeongin says and Felix furrowed his eyebrows.

"What's with that look?" He said to his friend who had a teasing expression.

"Eh nothing. Go no, don't want to keep Chan waiting." Jeongin was getting ready to run from the blond if need be.

"Fuck of Yang. It's strictly business." Felix finally understood what Jeongin was hinting at.

"You sound like him now. It's strictly business." Jeongin mimicked. Felix shook his head and walked to Chan's office and walked in.

But Chan wasn't alone. Hyunjin was with him. They both turned their heads to the blond who now froze in place awkwardly with the 2 pairs of eyes watching him.

"Still don't know what knocking is huh Felix?" Hyunjin said with a smile. Felix hadn't changed that much.

"Whatever." Felix replied rolling his eyes and walking further in.

"I'll see you later. If you don't come, I will come back here and drag your ass with me." Hyunjin said to Chan who simply nodded and looked to Felix.

"Why don't you come too Lix? I invited Jeongin too. We're going out tonight." Hyunjin offered and Felix thought for a while. If Jeongin was there, it might be bearable.

"I'll see." Felix simply said and Hyunjin left leaving the two alone now.

"What's the mission?" Felix said. That's what it had been like the past 3 days. Just straight down to business. No teasing or flirting or small talk of any kind like they normally would.

Just business Felix had told himself.

"It's a bit of a difficult one. Not the usual rich assholes but a gang member." Chan began explained.

"You're a rich asshole." Felix had mumbled thinking Chan hadn't heard but he did. And he ignored him.

"We've been hired to kill him by his gang leader since he can't put other members into it. We're complete strangers so the rest of his gang will be protected when they try to investigate later." Felix nodded. It actually did seem like more rich assholes. Gang leaders are loaded, and they're assholes.

"Let's go." Felix said standing up form the sofa.

"You're not gonna ask why he needs to be killed?" Chan said making Felix stop in his tracks and turn around.

"Don't ask questions. Remember?" If Chan said anything else Felix was sure he wouldn't be able to keep his sarcasm at bay.

"Unless I tell you myself." Chan completed and Felix rolled his eyes.
