27) Come Out Alive

"No way in fucking hell are you going." Felix said to Chan who simply sighed at his very stubborn boyfriend.

"I have to Felix. And I need you to stay here so I know you're safe." Chan explained to him for the 10th time but Felix just didn't want to listen.

After Jeongins call, Chan needed to go to the agency and fight with his agents and Felix wanted to come with. But Chan strongly refused saying he'd be safer out of sight. And of course Felix didn't agree.

"What about me?! I'll be safe but worrying about you. How is that any different than you worrying about me?" Felix tried to reason but this was one thing Chan was firm on.

"They want you dead Lix. The second they see you they'll open all fire in your direction. I will die Felix, if anything ever happened to you. So please, stay here." Chan wasn't budging and Felix didn't want Chan out of sight either.

"And don't you think I'd die if anything happened to you? I need you safe too Chan. I need you with me." Felix held Chan's face and looked in his eyes like he was searching for something.

"I'll come back to you, safe and sound." Chan held Felix's arms and had nothing but the truth in his eyes.

"You better." Felix replied, not wanting to let go of the other.

"Look at the bright side, if I don't come back, you get the agency." Chan tried to joke to ease the tension but Felix didn't find it funny at all.

"You're an ass. If you don't come back, I will personally hunt you down and kill you myself." Felix said with tears in his eyes and Chan pulled in into a hug.

Felix's head rested on Chan's chest as he had his arms around him, Chan was stroking and caressing his hair to calm him down a little.

And after Chan left. He promised Felix he'd be back and was intending to keep that promise. Felix watched him go and so badly wanted to follow. But we all know what happened the last time Felix disobeyed orders.

"He'll be back, I'll make sure of it." Hyunjin said putting his hand on Felix's shoulder. He too left after.

Felix went to the living room where Minho and Jisung were in their own world and Changbin looked at Felix with a sad smile.

"I know my brother, he doesn't break promises. Ever." Changbin said and Felix could only nod.

Chan left the house with a heavy heart, he didn't want to leave Felix in the state that he did but he had no choice. He needed to fight with his agents and protect them at all costs. They were is family.

Hyunjin came with him after assuring him that Changbin was with Felix. They arrived at the agency and went through the back entrance since the front was blocked.

They ended up in Chan's office and saw Taehyung and Jungkook looking at a map trying to figure something out.

"Brief me." Chan suddenly said startling the two agents.

"Chan? Where the fuck did you come from, you scared the shit out of us?" Jungkook said and Chan shrugged.

Chan didn't care how informal everyone was with him. These guys weren't just his agents, they were his family. Blood doesn't always make you family. Loyalty, love, honour, respect, and trust made you family.

"Does it matter? What's the situation?" Chan said and saw the map the two were looking at. It was the building, it's corridors and every exit and entrance.

"We're trying to seal off anywhere they can come in. But they already started the attack out side at the front. Jeongin is there with some agents, its an active shootout. Jimin is keeping all the cops away by hacking into their databases and turning them away from here. We don't know how to stop it though." Taehyung explained and Chan thought for a moment. Thank god the police won't be an issue, but he needed to stop this before it turned into a bloodbath. More than it already had.
