Chapter 3

(Sharanya and Sarah had their lunch)
After lunch Sharanya called her friend

Sharanya: Hi Kavya, (kavya is Sharanya's bestfriend) how are you? I'm feeling worried and upset.

(Sharanya says with teary eyes)

Kavya: Hey Sharanya, what's wrong? Is everything okay?

Sharanya replies Abhishek ( Sarah's doctor) have called me few hours ago i was in office that time
and he said that Sarah's tumor is growing and she needs treatment in a week. The treatment will cost 4 crore rupees, but I only have 2 crore rupees saved . Have told you day before yesterday I went to bank and the bank balance is around 2 crore. I don't know how to manage the remaining 2 crore rupees. Do you have any suggestions?

Kavya: I'm so sorry to hear that, Sharanya. That's a lot of money. Have you thought about talking to your in-laws about it? They could help you out.

Sharanya: I haven't talked to them since Sidharth's death... Anyway, our wedding was against their will and you know everything about it. But you're right, I should tell them about Sarah. She's their granddaughter after all.

Kavya replies, Okay take care. Goodbye, Sharanya.

After their conversation, Sharanya dialed her in-laws' phone number. Her mother-in-law, Reena, answered the phone.

Sharanya: Hi, how are you? This is Sharanya.

Reena: Oh, it's been so long since you called. Why did you call?

Sharanya: Actually, my daughter Sarah has a tumor and I need 2 crore rupees more for her treatment. Her treatment is in a week. Can you help me out?

Reena: Oh, we have no relationship with you and we don't have anything to do with your daughter. Don't call here again.

Sharanya was sad and angry after hearing this and hung up the phone.
She was very worried and couldn't find a way out. But the thought of asking her boss for help kept coming back to her mind

However, she tried to ignore it and started to think of other solutions.

She spent the whole night thinking about it.

The next morning, Sharanya prepared breakfast for Sarah, got her ready, and left for the office. While at work, she couldn't stop thinking about how to manage the money. Her colleague noticed that she was still worried and asked if everything was okay. Sharanya didn't tell her anything and started looking at jewelry designs.

Sharanya would have told about it but when she thought that if her boss (Ishaan Singhania) got to know about this he will definitely fire her.

Meanwhile Ishaan(ceo) was sitting in his cabin on his chair and thinking about her (Sharanya) and he said " she is like a delicate glass and so different from others" and her thoughts kept coming in his mind. He couldn't stop himself from thinking about her but finally he had a meeting so he went there.

During this time, Sharanya thought of taking a loan from the bank. She quickly left the office and went to the bank and asked them for a loan of 2 crore rupees . But the bank refused to give her such a large amount of money.

Sharanya was very worried and returned home. She thought to herself that she can take a loan from her company. This was the only way to pay for Sarah's treatment, and there were only 5 days left.

She thought that tomorrow she will go and talk with the manager Meanwhile.

Sarah was sitting next to her, watching cartoons. She asked Sharanya when they could go to Disneyland. Sharanya smiled and said, "When you get better, my dear. Then I'll take you to Disneyland. It's late now you have to go to school tomorrow, so go to sleep now and don't forget to brush your teeth Sharanya says and gives her a hug and so many kisses.

She thought that tomorrow she will go and talk with the manager.

The next day, Sharanya went to the office and first went to the office manager's cabin to talk about a loan of 2 crores.

Sharanya went to the office to request a loan, but the office manager was surprised and asked her why she needed such a large amount of money. Sharanya couldn't tell him the reason, but she begged him to give her the loan. However, the office manager refused, saying that the office couldn't handle such a large amount of money. Sharanya left the office with tears in her eyes and no hope left. She wondered if she could somehow gather 2 crores to save her daughter's life.
