As Gem got to Sweet Apple Acres, she smiled at the familiar apple trees gentle swaying in the summer breeze. She reached the front door and knocked a couple of times until someone on the other side opened it.
"howdy there Gem" it was Applejack who had opened the door and greeted the young teen. she spoke to the teen softly with a gentle smile.
"hello Mrs Apple I was just coming to meet Zap. We agreed to go to the skate park today" Gem said with excitement
"Alright come on in."
Applejack moved a side, to let Gem past, and shut the door behind her.
"He's in his room, have fun" Applejack said as she walk out to the barn were she know her wife would be.
Gem ran up the stairs and went to her best friend room, on her way she spotted two girls bickering. She recognised the twins as the sisters of Zap apple. She slowed down so the sisters would not bring her in the argument.
She got to the his room and heard sinles. Thats when Gem notice something was wrong because Zap was always shoutings at his games when Gem came to visit him in his room. Slowly, she knocked on the door. A quiet "come in" followed.
Gem pocked her head throw the door and saw Zap Apple just staring outside his window with a sad frown. He casted a sad smile when he saw her.
"Sup Gem" he said sadly
"Hey Zap you ready to go the the park" Gem said with smile
"Sorry Gem I know I promise I would but I don't really feel like it today" he looked away quickly. That's when Gem knew he was lying.
"Aww what's up Zap I haven't seen you this unset since your mom had to go on that business trip for a month." She said with concern in her eyes as she gently sat on his bed basied him.
For a few moments they sat in silence but it was soon broken by Zap voice.
"Rex snapped my bored in two "
"WHAT!? HOW!?"
"I left my bored in the barn but I forgot to lock the door and some how that ass found out. So he snuck in and broke it. I'm just happy he didn't touch any of my moms cars. I'm SICK of that ass hole. I'm SICK of that STUPID bully making my life a living HELL." He snapped.
He clench his fists and punched his wall.
Everyone knew about his anger issues one minute he will be the happiest and sweetest person in Equestria. The next he's angry and in serious cases he can get very violation. He never means to hurt anyone and he always regrets what he's done after but he just can't control himself.
Gem knew she was supposed to get an adult in this situation but she also knew Zap would never hurt her. She reached for his hand slowly and raped her fingers around his clench his fist. He tried to pull away put Gem was firm.
"Hey" she said softly
Eventually he stop trying to pull away and leaned forward slightly. Zap however would not make eye contact with his best friend.
"hey Zapie look at me" she knew the nickname would calm him down a bit more. Zap finally look at her with heavy breathing.
"Just deep breaths. We will sort all of this out, I promise". She placed her hand on his left check affectionately.
His breathing slowed and went back to normal. He smiled and stared into her eyes lovingly.
"Thanks you always know how to help me calm down"
"No problem what are friends for. Now come on we have to tell your parents about what happened"
with that Gem jumped of the bed and step out of the room.
"Yeah.....friends" he sight
