Ciel, as a young child, never much cared for the parties his father would bring him to. It didn't help that he was sick, small, and weak, but since the beginning he had possessed social anxiety. Ciel, as a teen, despised parties even more than he had when he was younger. And Ciel, over a hundred years later as a demon, hated parties with the burning passion of a thousand fiery suns.
He had made himself comfortable on the plush purple couch in Alois' living room, reading a mystery novel that he had brought along. He curled up in the corner, far away from the other guests.
Alois had forced Ciel to be a co-host of the party, so Ciel had had to stand at the door and force out a fake smile while a crowd of one hundred of Alois' closest friends came in one by one. With every greeting he gave, he felt his patience wearing thinner and thinner.
Sebastian was in the kitchen preparing snacks for everyone. Since Claude and Alois were dealing with their own issues, and neither one of the former Earls could cook very well, he had stepped up to be the role of the caterer.
Ciel looked up briefly to see the blonde holding onto his taller boyfriend's arm, surrounded by a ring of people. The two were wearing matching shirts, with Alois' reading "He's Mine" and Michael's reading "I'm His". Both shirts had arrows pointing to the other.
"Yeah, our date was spectacular!" Alois grinned. "He fed me popcorn during the movie then we just ended up kissing the entire time. The little dork even put on cherry chapstick so he'd get some kisses from me." He looked up at him with a cute smile.
"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" A few of the girls chanted excitedly. Their wishes were granted when Alois threw his arms around Michael and kissed him deeply.
"Disgusting..." Ciel muttered to himself before going back to his book. But to his confusion, he couldn't focus on the story. The words became meaningless and an annoying pain tugged at his stomach. He found himself looking up again.
The two had pulled away from each others lips, but Michael was still holding into Alois' waist. His hands were about to move down to squeeze his butt before the blonde slapped his hands away. "Stop that~!" He giggled.
Michael led him out of the circle-- some of the girls (and guys) were willing to step aside-- and onto the couch to kiss some more.
Ciel held the book up to his face, trying to avoid watching the two suck each other's faces off.
This was going to be a long night.

"I can't believe we got in!"
"SHHH! They'll catch us!"
"Shut it, the both of you. Your arguing isn't solving anything." Will scoffed. The three reapers were in a guest bedroom, changing into their disguises. Needless to say, they had been running a little behind schedule and had just arrived from their office in London.
Grell was holding back tears as she combed brown dye through her hair. "This is so bland and boring! Why must we have to be stuck in a middle school party?!"
"Middle school? Damn it! I thought this was a kegger. I was looking forward to seeing hot college girls..." Ronald sighed, looking down at his jersey and varsity jacket."Now I'll have to babysit everyone..." He messed with his spiky gelled hair.
Will zipped up a pair of jeans and pulled on a polo shirt, mentally rolling his eyes when he saw Grell staring at him. "We're just going to be the background adults. I'm supposed to stand in as somebody's uncle, you'll be the older brother, and Grell is a soccer mom."
"You say it with such disgust! If I had a kid who liked soccer I'd totally support them!" She pulled on a local peewee team's shirt, along with a sweater and some loose jeans. "Though I'd pick something that showed off my ass more so I could pick up a hot soccer dad."
