[14] Possessive over you

Y/n Pov:

After our last argument everything was normal again. Slowly we got back to stop the chopping again, as we should. But something didn't let go of me.

All this time I had to watch over him, because his Greed would just not stop going crazy if I wouldn't do that. It wasn't healthy for me nor for Onceler. With all this in mind, I still didn't want to talk to him about that, yet.

He finally got out of the Greedler circle again, and there was no way I could make it harder for him right now, right? And on top of that, I didn't even know what could help our relationship or to say it in other words, how to get him free from his greed, so we can live a normal life as partners. Everything I can think of is shutting down his company, but there was no way he would do that. That is sure.

It is a fact that he only wanted to stop the chopping because of me, not because he really cares about the environment. So how high are the chances he would actually listens or even consider this as a option. And I don't wanna be sneaky, so he would do as I say, because this would basically mean to destroy his dream. I couldn't do that to him.

On top of that I felt how every day he got more possessive over me. Sometimes it was cute and innocent but on other days it was tiring how much control was involved with that. He even requested I should stop working one time, even though I still don't know why exactly. He told me this, but when I looked at him confused he just said that it was nitbing. How bizarre.

I was pretty lost right now and thinking about it was just tiring.

Onceler Pov:

I was happy that after our last fights we didn't had an argument for at least a month. It couldn't go any better.

Everyday she was sitting on my lap, while we were having lunch together and just talking about our day or practically anything we could think of. Also we cuddled more and more. I just couldn't get enough! Everything I see her, I just want to snuggle her so bad. Sometimes she would go to my office only to get some attention from me by getting some cuddles. Not that I mind it at all, it's adorable!

But when I was talking to her about something she didn't seem to be listening. "Y/n? Darling? Are you listening to me?" She turned her face to me and stared for a second. "Oh, I'm sorry, Oncie. I got lost in thoughts. What did you say?"

I frowned, why would she space out like that. Like, right infront of me! "It wasn't that importand. You should rather tell me what's on your mind that you won't listen to me... Is something troubling you?" But she just shaked her head. This made me a bit uneasy "Tell me! Now!" My grip got tighter and her face seemed scared on how I raised my voice at her. But I couldn't help it, it was obvious that she was thinking about something specific and I had the need to know what it was. There is nothing wrong with that, it there?

"I-I just thought about... Ehm, well. Going out. Yes, going out again! We were just working in the last month, without enjoying ourselves. It would be nice to to eat somewhere, you know?" My temper calmed at those words and a smile formed on my lips. "You could have told me that, silly." - "I was just unsure if you would think the same, because your company is so important to you."

She sheepishly smiled at me. How cute she was. "Don't say such things! Your should know by now that you're the most important thing in the word for me." I gave her a kiss on her nice, jucy lips. It was hard to leave it at that but I kept talking. "I'll get us a reservation at a fancy restaurant right away." I said joyful "And I don't wanna hear whining about how we could just to a normal restaurant. I'm getting only the best for you!" I added, because I knew that she wanted to protest about that. "Okay, okay.. I get it" she giggled at me.
