JABBATHE TURNED to face the two normanni's that he forced to stay close to. "well, anyways... boy!" his words were directed towards thorfinn, since he was the one to deliver the message. "your comrades are not here. yet the sun has already risen."

the translator pointed a finger at jabbathe as he repeated his words into a language that the pair could understand.

"just attack, you fatass. you'll understand soon enough." thorfinn's insult towards the man made aphra look down towards her feet, biting her lip to stop herself from laughing.

which jabbathe noticed and grew annoyed, "...you just insulted me, didn't you? i can tell these things, you know." still with an irked expression, he turned his line of sight towards the wall. "prepare to attack! well, boy and girl! it looks like your execution is going to be the highlight for tonight!"

"good luck, thorfinn." aphra's eyes looked over at his figure, "this is all dependent on you."

jabbathe's men began to charge at the wall, loud yelling coming from the group of men. while the defense on the wall retaliated with their bows drawn back firing arrows.

thorfinn looked in the direction of the woods and he noticed how the trees began to shake around. he looked over at the man beside him suddenly, "hey, interpreter. who's the enemy general?"

the man looked over at the wall, "oh, see that one with feathers in his helm? that's the general."

aphra watched as the boy glared at the wall before sprinting off in that direction— leaving her and the others behind.

"huh?! why you little-!! i knew he was lying! he's escaped!! kill the boy!!!" jabbathe yelled at the archers surrounding him, the men aiming their bows at them. "and grab the girl!"

and almost instantaneously two different hands grabbed onto her biceps, holding her in place as if she was going to run off next. she grunted at the tight grasp that they had on her.

"you assholes," she huffed and her brows furrowed. "you don't have to hold on so tight, i'm not going to run." but they couldn't understand her, and so they only ignored her— her bicep in hand. "god, thorfinn. dragging me into this stupid shit." she cursed underneath her breath.

there was nothing for the girl to do besides simply stand there and watch. watch as different groups of soldiers all attempted to storm the wall in sections; all while arrows or spears rained down on them. a bitter look had occupied her expression. she was on the edge.
