The Hunt for Romance

Chapter one

Early Morning

The sun rose over the horizon on an early Sunday morning. Kade , an early 20's male with mid length black hair tied up in a bun. He sat in his chair at his desk that overlooked his property, drawing inspiration from the sights before him. He lived in a small two bed two bath surrounded by forest for miles. Not a soul lived near him. He got up from his desk where he had been drawing all morning. Taking in stride he walked to the kitchen and fixed himself a cup of coffee,and walked out onto the balcony. The sun painted the sky with brilliant shades of yellows and soft oranges. Gazing out into the sky a small smile brimmed his cheeks.

He got up and adorned his out fit of the day. Black denim jeans, black fitted shirt with the words "Fuck around and find out" written in red across his chest, and black boots.

Mid morning

At his usually time he went into town to get himself hot tea from his favorite cafe. As he walked into town he was greeted with the smell of fresh baked sweets and pastries. The town was alive with people this time of day. Spotting the cafe he walked in the door entranced by the smell of fresh coffee. However, a new smell found its way into his senses. It smelled of fresh rain almost earthy. The sent drew closer to him as the waitress walked over to his table. "Welcome to  Nords Cafe. I'm Hope. What can I get started for you today," Her voice is soft and easy on the ears. "A hot tea would be perfect," He spoke. Hope nodded and walked away to fix the order. He carried herself with such grace like a gentle doe. Lost in thought he came back to seeing Hope place the tea in front of him. "Enjoy," Hope stated as she stepped away.

He sipped on the tea till it was gone. It tasted of sweet honey and Camille. Sweet and calming much like the aura that surrounded Hope. Finishing off his tea he gathered his things and went to pay.

"What do I owe you?" Kade questioned. Hope smiled softly at him, "It's on me under one condition." He smirked lightly. Not very many things brought him happiness but this girl peeked his interest. "What would that be?" He raise an eyebrow and questioned once more. "That you come back and see me," she gave Kade a smile. "I'll be sure to come back then," Kade stated and exited the building.

The though of seeing Hope again was exhilarating for him.
