Chapter twenty four: surprise

Quinn's POV:

Today was the day, I feared the most... Our interview on the Ellen show. Ariana loved this show and Ellen would totally interview Ariana just in the way Ariana liked it. Even though I was finally away from that yacht, I still felt trapped. Ariana's bodyguards were watching me like crazy and I knew that if I made one wrong move, they would break everything off and take me away before even something serious could happen.

Ariana wouldn't take the risk, if she wasn't sure that everything would run smoothly so there was basically no chance for me to get away from here. Frankie also told me that the whole building was prepared for me before I arrived here. At first it might have seemed like this was a chance to escape but as soon as I got here, I realized how little my chances were especially because no one really seemed to care about me. They were all just focused in their work... Typical for Los Angeles.

"Princess, I have a surprise for you!", Ariana cheered while she entered our dressing room. I forced myself to smile even though panic filled my body. I didn't like her surprises... She sat down beside me and handed me some papers. "My assistent finally managed to prepare divorce papers for you. You just have to sign them and then you will be free.", she said with a bright smile and I gulped.

It didn't surprise me that she did this... I just hoped it would never come to this. "But Ariana... How is this supposed to work? Illian has to sign too, to make it official.", I said and she giggled. "Don't worry, after you signed I will send someone to him, who will make sure that he will sign them.", she said and I sighed.

Did I really have a choice? It was Ariana. She would get me to sign this no matter what and I didn't want her to hurt me again. I noticed that Ariana got impatient and she grabbed my chin to force me to look right into her eyes. "Don't be so hesitant. You love me right?", she said in a very aggressive tone, making me shiver.

I slowly leaned forward to give her a short peek on her lips to calm her down. "Of course...", I said before I signed the papers with my shaky hands. Ariana's eyes immediately lighted up. "Good girl. Don't forget to say that you are in the process of a divorce when Ellen asks you about it. Understood?", she asked and I slowly nodded.

This wasn't the first time Ariana was on the Ellen show, so she could kinda guess what kind of questions Ellen would ask and she of course prepared answers for me since the black list was very long and I couldn't remember every single word I wasn't allowed to say. Basically every word, that someone could associate with the crimes Ariana commited against me was forbidden.

"Princess, it's time.", Ariana said and grabbed my wrist to pull me towards the stage with her. Ellen just announced us and the audience was cheering very loud while we walked in. Ariana waved at them while I shyly smiled. This was all so new to me. Ellen walked over to us and hugged us before we sat down on the couch across from her.

"Wow Ariana Grande with a girl. I never expected that to happen.", Ellen said and Ariana giggled. Well she had a point to think that since Ariana didn't fit with the stereo type of a lesbian. "So, I guess I can speak for everyone that your instagram story was very surprising. We never saw your new girlfriend before and we would like to know how you met.", Ellen said and I looked down.

I was only allowed to speak when Ellen asked me directly, so I let Ariana speak. "Well, we knew each other since high school. We were best friends back then but soon I realized that she was way more to me and she happened to feel the same way, so we decided to be in a relationship but the problem was that her parents and my father were very homophobic, so there were a lot of obstacles and on offs going on but we always found a way back to each other.", Ariana explained and the audience was amazed by her words.
