So, it has been a year. Neji and I were secretly dating and it was going well. Really. It was.

He would come over in the morning, telling his uncle he had to help train me, and we would train for a little before just relaxing at my house. He told me some stories about the mission he had gone on when I was gone. And I told him some very vague stories of what I did. I couldn't honestly tell him since I promised to keep those 4 years of my life the deepest, darkest secret ever.

But, then... It all changed.

It began about three days ago.

~3 days ago~

"Neji stop!" I was giggling, because that Hyuga was tickling the hell out of me.

"You love birds are so annoying." Suiko mumbled as he walked through the living room to the kitchen.

"Oh, are you jealous?" Neji smirked as he stopped tickling me.

Suiko stopped, an irk mark forming on his forehead, but instead of yelling and killing Neji, he walked into the kitchen without a word.

"That wasn't nice Neji-kun." I looked at him, sternly.

"I know. But it was worth it." Neji smiled gently.

We were about to kiss, but my door was being banged on... How rude! I was just about to video tape you both again! I have been making a killing off these things!

You amaze me Tomochi.

I know!

I sighed gently as I pecked Neji's lips before walking to my door. Suiko had opened it by now.

"Yes, Tomoko is here. Why? Do you need him?" Suiko was asking the person at the door.

I reached the door before stopping. It was 4 ANBU members.

"Shizuka Tomoko?" One of them asked me. I nodded. "You are to come with us. Just you." I felt his glare at Suiko though I couldn't see it.

"I don't go anywhere without Sui-..." I started but Suiko walked past me.

"I'll go pack your bag, seems you are going on a mission if I can't go. I'll be fine. And so will you. Just don't get yourself killed. Okay?" Suiko smiled slightly before disappearing into my room.

"Am I going on a mission? Why can't Suiko go?" I asked the ANBU members.

"Yes. Because Lady Tsunade said so." Another, woman, ANBU member spoke this time.

I sighed before Suiko returned with my bag. "Alright, do I have to leave now?"

All four of them nodded in unison. Creepy.

"Give me a minute. I need to grab something." The leader ANBU member nodded before I went back into my living room.

Softly, I told Neji what was happening. We hugged and kissed before I had to go.

I grabbed a hidden small bag that I needed. I waved goodbye to Neji before heading to the door again.

"Alright. Let's go," I sighed as I walked out the door. "Bye, Suiko. Don't destroy anything, get drunk, or kill anyone. Got it?" I looked at him.

He did a mock salute. "Sir, yes, sir. Have fun!" He shut the door, heading back to the kitchen probably.

"So, what is this mission?" I asked the ANBU group.

One shrugged and replied, "We were told to get you. Now shut up. Your questions are annoying me."

I sighed as I followed them to the Hokage building.

We entered the Hokage's office. Lady Tsunade looked a little .. sad?

"Lady Tsunade." I bowed respectively.

"Shizuka. I am so sorry." Tsunade's eyes were red as if she had been crying.

"I'm sorry? I don't understand." I looked at her then I noticed them.

There were three people in the room. They wore a forehead protector with an odd symbol on it. It was like a flower almost. No... It was...

It's the Ryu clan. Their symbol is three straight lines with a slash across it. They are a clan full of runaway shinobi from other clans. How the hell did you get a flower out of straight lines. You need to get your eyes fixed, Tomoko.

"This is Ren Ryu, Mika Ryu, and Isabella Tomo Ryu." Tsunade introduced the older male and woman and then the younger lady. She looked about my age.

Then, it dawned on me. "T-Tomo? What?" I stared at Tsunade with wide eyes.

When she didn't answer me, I looked at Isabella. She had bright blood red eyes but her hair was black. No, it was dyed black.

"Are you Shizuka Tomoko?" Isabella asked me. Her voice was soft but held a strong background to it.

"Yes, I am." I looked down at her, she was smaller than me.

She bowed, "It is nice to know that the Prince still lives."

"Tsunade, why am I here?" I looked at the Hokage.

"You are being sent to the land that the Tomo clan was on before they ... disappeared." Tsuande stated. "You will bring along these three as well. Isabella states she is a descendant of the Tomo clan's royalty's servant clan. Basically, she is your servant."

"Do you know jutsus? Are you a ninja?" I asked the short male.

He bowed, again, "I am a healing ninja, my lord."

"Fine. Give me the details and we will leave later this evening." The three strangers nodded before Tsunade told me other details I needed to know.

Damn. I don't want to see the Tomo's land.
