The Tomo Clan

I was back in control now. We were currently walking the last bit to the only remaining structure on the Tomo land, the tower. Honestly, I have no idea how it survived or what it is. But I have a feeling something powerful resides there, deep in the tower.

"Can you feel it, my prince?" The small girl, Isabella, spoke quietly to me.
I glanced at her and nodded. "The power, yes?"
"I can too." Isabella said softly as we continued walking.

What a girl, am I right?
 Don't be rude.

We all slowly stopped in front of the entrance of the tower. I was amazed at the power radiating off of the tower.

"What is in there?" I asked, looking at the solid black door.

"No one knows. Only the royal family has even entered the tower and left alive, but they are all dead. No one has entered the tower since the downfall of the Tomo clan." Ren stated as we all stared at the decrepit tower that had only one, intact, red door.
"And you want me to enter the tower? And do what exactly?" I couldn't help the sharpness in my tone, I blame the long journey.
The small girl looked at me. "Learn. We want you to learn, Prince Shizuka. Learn everything."
"Everything?" Confusion was clear in my red eyes. How was I suppose to learn everything?

"Please go inside, Shizuka." Mika stared at me as she gestured towards the red door.

Just enter, Shi. And please, keep your eyes open.
What? What do you mean?

Tomochi went silent, so, relunctantly, I made my way towards the red door. The power seeped through the door stronger than it seemed when I was standing a few feet away. The power was calling me, telling me to enter, to see. My red gaze looked back at the three people, landing on Isabella last, a strange smile resting on her delicate features. Ignoring every alarm going off in my body, I opened the door.

It was cold. Ice. I could feel a soft breeze, smell a strong jasmine scent.

Strange. Where am I?
Open your eyes, Shizuki. Open them.

Listening to the demon inside me, I peeled my eyes open. It was a struggle, as if my eyes were glued shut, but finally they parted. Immediately, a sharp gasp left my lips, echoing in the vast space.

The floor was a thick block of ice, coated by a low cloud of fog. There seemed to be no ceiling, the surrounding area was bright. Could I have died and this is heaven?

A low growl echoed through the strange place. Turning around, another gasp left my mouth as my gaze ran up the torso of a white tiger with purple and gold strips. The tiger was taller than anything I'd ever seen before. My red gaze met the tiger's own red gaze. We stared at each other, me in confusion and the tiger in slight interest.

"Who are you?" A rough voice growled it's way through my mind.
"I-"

Lord Tomo, I am Tomochi. This is my other, Shizuki Tomoko. We-

"Let him speak, Tomochi." The white tiger moved down into a laying position, resting his head on his front paws as he stared straight at me.
"I am Shizuki Tomoko. The heir of the Tomo clan." My voice was small in the vast emptiness of this place. "Who are you?"
"Hmm," The tiger hummed, the sound echoing. "I am Lord Zuki Tomo. The first heir of the Tomo clan. The true king. You are nothing but an extension of my power. Who were your parents?"
"I only know their names. Hitashi Tomo and Luna Komi." My gaze broke with the tiger's, landing on the fog covered ground. "I never knew them. They were not royal, I know that much. My father married a woman of another clan, which was frown upon in the Tomo clan. He never cared much for rules since he was low on the chain. My mother was poor, her whole clan was. They were wiped out even before the fall of the Tomo clan. 
"My father and my mother were poor. Therefore, I never understood how I could ever be the heir of the Tomo clan. But, I was met with Suiko Gear a few years ago. He told me everything he knew of my parents. There is no other Tomo alive, besides me."
"You are wrong. There is another alive." The tiger licked his paw a few times before settling down comfortably again.
