I decided to just ignore Georgia and make my way up to our room. As I approached the door I could hear banging coming from inside. Upon opening the door I discovered Georgia unpacking, clearly in a bad mood.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of bed" I chirped up, a smirk on my face.

"Shut up Ferguson" I heard right before I felt something hit my face, it was one of Georgia's hoodies.

"Hey thanks for the hoodie, very nice of you to give me a gift" I smiled at her, knowing just how to annoy her.

"You aren't getting to keep it" she rolled her eyes.

"We'll see about that" I smirked before moving my suitcases over to my bed.

I just finished unpacking when I heard a knock at the door. "Ri, it's Lotte" I heard from the other side of the door. I walked over and opened the door for Lotte.

"Hey, ready for training?" she asked while I let her in.

"Yeah, I'm actually excited to get back into things" I replied while grabbing my bag.

"Georgia are you coming?" I shouted towards the bathroom.

"Yes, 2 seconds" I heard her groan from the bathroom. I think I actually heard her rolling her eyes.

The three of us headed down to the pitch together, Lotte tried to keep a conversation going with both of us but it wasn't working.

We arrived at the pitch just in time for the start of training. All the girls had started warming up so we ran over to join them.

I got out the shower to the surprise that the Lionesses instagram had posted a picture of Georgia and I from 2018. I had forgotten that the picture even existed. I liked the picture and put my phone away not wanting to see it anymore.

Some of the girls have planned a movie night in the common room tonight, which means there will probably be a few questions about this picture from the past.

Georgia was already there setting up with Leah and Keira so I had the room to myself. I put on a pair of Nike shorts and a jumper, and took a picture for my instagram story as I had become quite the fashion influencer during the pandemic. A lot of my followers, followed me for my fashion content and not the football content. Which was quite odd considering i'm most known for football but it is also quite refreshing.

After posting I headed down to the common room, it appeared that the movie had already started which meant I was late. I was late quite a lot to be honest, i'm not the best time keeper.

"Well, well, well look who decided to show up" I heard Leah say as I walked in.

"Sorry, lost track of time" Everyone laughed at my response knowing it's my excuse every time i'm late. I looked around the room for somewhere to sit but the only spare place was next to Georgia.

I walked over to Lotte and asked if she would sit next to Georgia so I didn't have to but she refused, "No Ri, be an adult and just sit next to her" she whispered.

I sighed and made my way over to the empty seat. As I sat down I received a dirty look from Georgia which I just returned by sticking my tongue out at her.

After the movie finished we sat and chatted for a while and gradually more and more people went to bed. Eventually it was just Lotte, Alessia, Ella, Leah, Keira, Lucy, Georgia and I left.

"So I think it's time to address the elephant in the room" Ella smirked at me.

"Oh yes! I agree" Alessia stated.

"Georgia? Riley?" Lucy looked at us both

"What? What Elephant?" Georgia replied confused about what was happening.

"They mean that picture of you and Riley" Leah whispered to Georgia.

"Oh, what? it's from years ago. We were probably just acting up to the cameras, meant nothing" she grunted.

I looked at her, tears forming in my eyes. I tried my best to make them stop, I didn't want anyone to notice. "Yeah, Nothing" I said while looking right at her, she could tell what she said hurt me.

"Sure, if you say so" Keira said.

"I'm going to go to bed now" I said quickly, wanting to leave as quick as possible. Georgia looked up at me, she looked worried.

"I'm also going to go" She agreed. I rolled my eyes at her, clearly not wanting her to join me.

"Oh okay, night guys" Alessia stated, clearly a bit concerned.

I walked out as fast as I could, almost running upstairs to our room. I didn't want to speak to Georgia about this, she clearly didn't think it meant anything so why worry about it.

"Riley! Wait! That's not what I meant" I heard as I quickened my pace.
