Celebrations

"We made it to the Quarter-Final!! Well done girls, we are so proud" Sarina said to us all.

We didn't want to jinx it and we were already so proud we even made it this far, it would just be icing on the cake to make it to the semis. Spain is such an amazing team it will be a challenge playing against them.

We are having a party to celebrate us making it to the Quarters.

"Hey ready to go?" Georgia asked. I nodded, heading towards the door. We walked down to the common room together.

"Champagne?" Lucy asked as we entered the room. We both took a glass and sat down. I sat with Lotte while Georgia sat with Keira and Leah.

"So how are you finding your first euros Riley?" Lucy asked me.

"I'm really enjoying it! I'm always happiest when I'm playing" I smile at her.

"I'm glad! You're an amazing player aswell. Would love to see you at Barcelona one day" she said.

"Wow, that's a dream for sure" I replied. But where I really wanted to go was Bayern to be with Georgia. It's also my dream club.

"Do you ever wish you chose to play for Scotland?" Keira asked as she joined us along with Georgia and Leah.

"Sometimes I miss being there, it's such a beautiful country and It's where I grew up but I don't miss playing for the National team. I still have so many friends that play for Scotland but England is my home" I said.

"Good Good, wouldn't have been happy if you'd said yes" Georgia smirked.

I could drown in her eyes, she's so beautiful.

"Should we play truth or dare?" Chloe asked.

"We are such children playing these games" Millie laughed.

"I'll start!" Rachel piped up. "Millie, Truth or Dare?" She asked.

"Truth" Millie replied. While Rachel stuck out her tongue calling her boring.

"Who's your favourite team mate?" She asked.

"Did you just want a compliment?" Millie laughed.

Everyone started laughing knowing Millie would say Rachel.

"Riley, Truth or Dare?" Millie asked.

"Truth" I smiled. Not drunk enough for dare yet.

"What's your favourite football memory from when you were younger?" She asked.

I thought back to the England Academy and Georgia, that was truly my favourite. I made eye contact with Georgia and went red, "Erm...I think my mum getting to watch me play for England in the U20 World cup." I said.

Everyone smiled at me and Lotte gave me a hug.

"That's really nice" Georgia smiled.

I nodded, "Leah, Truth or dare?"

"Dare" She smirked.

"I dare you to text the last person you texted and say that you're quitting football" I said.

"Easy" She smirked while she texted. Jordans phone buzzed and the whole room erupted in laughter.

"Should have known" I rolled my eyes.

"Truth or Dare, Georgia?" Leah asked her.

"Truth" She replied.

"What's your biggest regret?" She asked.

"Wow deep" Keira laughed.

Georgia looked at me, she looked sad and I could tell what she was going to say.

"I hurt someone really badly a few years ago, wish I hadn't. Things would be really different if I hadn't" She said.

"I'm sure you can fix things" Leah said patting her on the back.

Georgia looked at me, "Yeah definitely" I said agreeing with Leah. Georgia smiled at me.

We went back to drinking for a while.

I was feeling quite boozy by midnight. "I think it's time for bed" I said to the girls.

"I'll come with you" Georgia said.

We both exited the room.

"Do you really mean that this is fixable?" She asked me when we were walking to our room.

I grabbed her hand and we stopped, "Yes, I really mean it Georgia. Things happen but it doesn't mean that they have to stay that way" I looked at her.

She leaned down and time felt like it stopped. She grabbed my face and kissed me.
