"Georgia...I" I started.

"Oh my god, I am so sorry Riley. I don't know what came over me" She looked at the floor, avoiding eye contact.

"Georgia" I lifted her head up. "It's okay. I wanted it to happen, I just don't think it should have. Not yet anyway" I explained.

"Oh" Is all she said.

"We are drunk. This isn't the right time" I said.

"You're right" She nodded sadly as she realised I was right.

"How about we do something tomorrow night just the 2 of us?" I asked her.

She smiled "That sounds good".

And we walked to our room hand in hand.

...

I facetimed my sister when I woke up, singing happy birthday as she answered the call.

"Happy birthday Pen!!" I squealed.

"Thank you Ri!" She smiled.

"I miss you! I wish I was there" I sighed.

"I know but think of the impact you are making right now! You're incredible Ri"

"Thank you. I know that, It's just scary" I replied.

"You'll be back before you know it" She ensured.

"How's Scotland?" I asked. She had gone to stay with Dad for her birthday.

"Cold" She laughed and I laughed with her.

Dad appeared on the screen.

"Hey Riley!" He interrupted.

"Hi Dad! How are you?" I asked.

"I'm good, You're doing incredible! I'm so proud, I love watching your matches" He said.

"Thank you Dad, I try" I laughed. "As soon as I finish, I will be up to Scotland to see you!" I promised.

"Can't wait my girl! You win this first though" He said.

"I'll try" I smiled.

We said our goodbyes and I got ready for training.

...

Training went really well and we feel confident going into the Quarter Finals. After I showered, Georgia and I were ready for our walk.

Georgia and I headed out on our walk around The Lensbury.

"How was Penelope when you spoke to her?" Georgia asked me.

"She's good, so is Dad. Excited to see them after the competition" I replied.

"I'm really glad they're both doing well! I can imagine, it's hard enough only seeing my family at games I can't imagine not seeing them at all" She said.

"Yeah, It's worth it though. Inspiring the younger generation" I smiled.

We walked and talked for a bit longer before sitting on a bench.

"About the other night...I really want that but I just don't think I'm ready for that step yet. I was so hurt after what happened and I just don't think I can go straight back into it again. I need to take it slower" I explained.

"I totally understand that Riley, I regret what I did everyday and if I could change things I would but unfortunately I can't. So I will do everything I can to regain your trust. I want you and i'm willing to take things as slow as you need" She replied.

"Thank you for saying that. You're definitely regaining my trust, I'm just scared of being hurt again so slow sounds good" I smiled.

"Perfect" She smiled.

We walked back to camp hand in hand, talking about anything and everything.
