Someone was targeting blue-eyed males. They weren't sure of the pattern but so far every body found, the victims had blue eyes and were male. They had found blonde victims, slim victims, plump victims, both short snd tall victims, some crippled, brunettes, red heads name it but they had all been blue eyed and male.
So far the count was 10.They had a serial killer on the loose. Carlos hadn't told T.K yet. His fiance had blue eyes. They were not completely blue, they had hints of green sometimes he wasn't really sure what colour they were especially under too much light, nevertheless he was worried to death. He had just gotten the news in confidentiality from detective Washington, she wanted his insight on the matter.
He was currently at his house going through the files and T.K had not arrived yet. It had been close to three hours since his shift and he was getting worried. He decided he had given T.K enough allowance before calling him. He picked up his phone and phoned T.K, straight to voice mail. He didn't like it, he didn't like it one bit. He picked up his car keys and jacket. He was almost to the door when he had the jingling of keys and his fiance came through it.
" Hey baby, you know..."
Carlos couldn't help himself he pulled T.K into his arms and hugged him.
"Baby are you okay?" T.K asked as he rubbed his back. Carlos could hear the worry in his voice. He pulled away from the hug and took T.K's face in his hands.
" Where were you? You were not picking up your phone, your shift ended a while ago, what were you thinking...."
"Carlos, hey calm down, breathe, okay,"
Carlos took deep breathes and counted to five, a technique T.K had taught him.
"Okay I'm good, I'm good,"
"Yeah?"
"Yeah," Carlos smiled as he looked into T.K's eyes, they now looked green.
" Okay, so my phone battery died and Nancy wanted to shop for extra blankets and she was sooo picky about them so we ended up staying longer. Now tell me, what's going on with you? I've been late before and you didn't react like this so spill."
Carlos ran his hands through his hair and sighed he really didn't want T.K to know. He knew him well enough to know how paranoid he could get, he didn't want that but with the stunt he pulled earlier and the files that were still displayed on the table he had to yield. Besides it was a serial case, sooner or later the public was going to find out, it would be better if T.K heard from him directly than through other channels.
