CECILIA
CHAPTER FIFTEEN
•THERAPY•After this whole killing Marcos thing, Evangeline decided I needed to talk to someone and I didn't want to do that. But I knew I had to do it. She wants what's best for me and I do as well. "So when does she get here?" I asked Evangeline. We were both sitting in the living room, waiting for this woman to get here.
"In about five minutes." This woman was getting more than she ever worked for. Just to keep everything as a secret. She's way older than Eva and I which is understandable. But she's been told that if she ever revealed what happened she would get killed immediately.
She swore she wouldn't tell anyone, not even her wife. Which I just hope she could help. "I'm nervous." I mumbled, Eva stroked my arm and kissed my lips. "I'll be right in the next room." She said, just then the maid walked in with a very attractive woman next to her. When I mean attractive I mean attractive. Definitely not more than Eva but woah, she was up there.
I looked over her body just to observe her, she did have a ring on her finger which meant she was married. Good for her. Eva and I both stood up, holding hands. "Cecilia. This is Alessandra Whitlock, Alessandra, this is my woman I was telling you about."
"Nice to meet you." The woman, Alessandra said, she held out her hand and I took it, shaking it. "You too." I said. She let go of it and I took a deep breath. "I will be in the next room, if anything happens, let me know." Evangeline said, We both nodded and she kissed my cheek again and left.
Alessandra sat down across from me and smiled. "I'm gonna start easy on you okay?" I nodded and watched as she grabbed a clipboard and a pen out. "Start by telling me what your name is and what you do."
"My name is Cecilia Ida and I design houses." She nodded, smiling. "That seems fun." I nodded, agreeing with her. "What has led you to therapy?"
I sighed. "I was kidnapped." I told her, she just stared at me, her eyes telling me to go on. "For weeks. It felt like months being there." I said.
"By a man named Marcos, correct?" I nodded, looking down. She sighed when I stayed silent. "My wife went through a shooting, and she hadn't recovered for months until she felt like she could actually walk outside without feeling scared. This whole process, the trauma, will have a slow process."
I looked up at her. "It will be slow but you need to trust others around you and realize you are in a safe space. Ms. Cross has made it very clear that if something has happened to you under my watch I will see no future." Even though I know Eva was serious, Alessandra seemed to take it as a joke.
"You do know she's not kidding...right?" I asked, she laughed and nodded. "Yes I do know." I brushed all that off and listened to her as she continued. "Truama doesn't leave the body, it stays. But you cannot let it win and have fear, there is good as well as bad." That was true. "If you think of the bad, you live the bad."
Damn she's good with her words. "You cannot live your life in fear. You don't know who will live tomorrow, or in a few days. So you have to just live. Do not worry about the good or bad because you're just going to overthink everything instead of just living."
I sighed at her words and tried to take them in, but I couldn't. "I can't. I'm trying to think of the positive and I'm telling myself to stop overthink and think about the situation but it's just not letting me."
She nodded. "Okay, well from now on, every time you have an appointment with me, I want you to have a paper and write your feelings down and tell me your thoughts when I ask you to." She said to me, I nodded.
"Now, if you want, I would like to hear about everything that's happened. Ms. Cross only told me little because she felt I needed to hear it from you." I took a deep breath and looked down at the table. "I couldn't sleep, I think I felt it in my bone that something wasn't okay." I started.
She wrote it down. "I wanted to get water and so I did, and I then sat on my couch and I know I was about to text Evangeline because of what she told me." I sighed. "I make sure to lock my doors, and I know I locked the door. But they o-opened it."
"I don't know how they did but they just opened it and it was all unlocked. Eva said someone could've been in my house all that time. Which means they heard me shower, they heard everything and probably could see me." I shuttered, closing my eyes.
"Hey, you don't have to give me all the details. Take your time." She said to me, I took a deep breath and tried calming myself. I never realized how hard it was to talk about it, like really talk about it. But it is. And I hate it.
"And they opened the door and the last thing I remembered from that, was a white cloth over my mouth." I told her, opening my eyes. She nodded and looked at me with sad eyes as she crossed her legs. "How did this all affect your relationship with Ms. Cross?"
I shrugged. "I think we drifted apart from each other. Well I drifted from her, I like hanging with her mom more sometimes." I said, that felt too sad to admit. She nodded. "And have you told her this?" I shook my head.
"No. She's been doing so much for me. But her lifestyle is just so dangerous. I had just found out what she does and I got kidnapped. No one should ever have to be forced into a life style like this. Maybe in a few months I'll get used to it but right now, there's so much happening with this situation. I need time."
She gave me an understanding look, softly smiling. "You need to communicate that to her, if you're not saying anything, how can she know what you're thinking?" I nodded. That's true, I did need to communicate better when talking about this. "I used her for sex too, as a distraction and I..I don't know I didn't think she'd mind because she wanted me back but it did and I feel bad."
"Again, communicate that, make sure she knows you're sorry for doing what you did and I'm positive she's already forgiven you." She said and I sure hoped she meant this. I've already opened up to her more than I've opened up to Mary. Well she always knows everything.
She looked at her watch and smiled. "That seems to be all the time I have with you love." She said, standing up. I stood up with her and nodded. "Same time next week?" I nodded once more and watched the maid escort her out of the house. Evangeline came walking in, a smile on her face. "And how was it?"
"It was good, I opened up to her. She didn't make me continue when she knew I didn't want to." She grabbed my waist and sighed. "I'm glad, you deserve this. I know I keep saying this but I'm sorry, I will do anything to keep you safe and if I don't, you have my word I will let mark shoot me right between my legs." I smiled at this and nodded.
"I would like to apologize as well. I've been distant, and I used you and I'm so-" she shook her head, shushing me. "You don't have to apologize. It's all okay to me. Just as long as you know I'm here for you." She kissed my lips and pulled back. "Want to go to the green room? Or would you rather go to my red room?" She asked, smirking at the end.
I laughed, smacking her shoulder. "Dirty mouth." I said, she rolled her eyes.
"I was being serious. Green room or red?"
