Chapter 03: Revenge
Revenge.
That was what in Taehyung's daze mind, he was thinking of taking revenge for his mother's death. Since he heard his mother mention Jeon Jungkook's name, he believes it was possible that he was the reason for his mother's death.
Why?
Because he knew, his mother became their maid in their mansion. At first, everything went well when she worked there, she even mentioned that they welcomed her lovingly. But when years went on after Jungkook's parent's death, she suddenly left her work and Taehyung noticed how she changed.
She became very alert to her surrounding as if someone were watching them. They usually shift to different houses without knowing the reason. He believed something happened to her related to Jeon.
Maybe, Jungkook is after her for some reason and wants her dead. Just thinking about that made Taehyung boil in anger.
He will get the justice he deserves for his mother, regardless of what happened. He will make Jungkook pay for what he did.
Flashing cameras, media, and plenty of interviewers were having a conference with Jeon Jungkook who got named “The Greatest and Youngest CEO of all time.” for being the successful owner of his own company with countless branches in different countries.
Besides, he got a good look that can make everyone on their knees. It's not hard to love him, he is rich, loveable, and pretty good at everything even though it's his first time doing something.
With that look, he surely can get everything he wants easily. Everyone will love him if he'd like to, he's well-known to everyone. So, why would hate him if he's almost a perfect person?
Watching from afar with a dagger in his hands, he listens to Jungkook's interviews. He wore a black hoodie with huge paws to be able to hide his dagger. He literally waited for this day to get revenge on his mother. He planned everything without a backup plan.
“Jungkook-ssi, you got everything you wanted with just a flick of a finger. It seems you are living your life, but how about your relationship status? Are you seeing someone?”
One of the interviewers asked Jungkook the question.
“Hm, as of now, I'm still single. I'm ready to be in a relationship, but I haven't found a compatible girl for me.” Jungkook responded to that interviewer.
“Surely, the public will be excited to hear that girl soon. They will wait to see who's the lucky girl who will have your heart.” The interviewer giggled.
Meanwhile
Taehyung put his hood on and quickly went to the middle of the conference. He literally walked in the middle, earning the attention of the people inside. He didn't bother to think properly, he acted so recklessly.
“Who are you?” Someone asked him.
But Taehyung didn't even bother to respond and kept staring at Jungkook, who was doing the same thing.
“Stop him!” Another person spoke when Taehyung stood up in front of Jungkook and noticed the dagger in his hand.
Without any hesitation, he stabbed the dagger into Jungkook's chest, near the heart.
Everyone gasped, witnessing what he just did. They saw blood on Jungkook's white shirt, spreading quickly.
“Die!” Taehyung said through his gritted teeth while glaring at Jungkook, furiously.
For some reason, Jungkook stared straightly into Taehyung's eyes, not even realizing that he got stabbed. He felt lost in those eyes.
“Get him!”
They were able to tackle Taehyung since Taehyung didn't try to escape. It appears that he only wants to stab Jungkook without knowing the reason why he did that.
“Die! You murderer." Taehyung growled, still glaring at Jungkook while getting dragged away from Jungkook.
“Sir, are you okay?” One of the security asked Jungkook who just kept staring at Taehyung.
“I'm fine, bring that person to me.” Jungkook replied, looking at the dagger in his chest that luckily didn't go deep and just the tip stabbed him.
“Sir?” The security seems to be confused about what he said.
“Didn't you hear me? I told you to bring that person to me.” Jungkook retorted and walked away.
But what's the reason Jungkook wants to see the person who almost killed him?
Taehyung almost felt satisfied when he did that. At least he was able to put a dagger through Jungkook's heart as his plan. Yet, he wished it were able to kill him.
“Boss told me to bring him to him, you know where to go, right?” Taehyung heard the person outside the vehicle tell the driver.
He was sitting behind the driver with his hands handcuffed on his back, while his feet were tied.
“Yes, but why did he ask that? I can simply get rid of him.” The driver smirked.
“No, don't touch him, make sure he will be there with no damage, or else, you're the one who will get rid of by the boss.” The person warned him.
“This guy harmed our boss, will he be the one who's gonna do it instead?” The driver inquired.
“I don't know too, stop asking too many questions. That guy will surely regret what he did to our boss.” The person outside said and grinned at Taehyung.
Taehyung looked at him without any emotion in his eyes.
“Oi, don't give me that look if you don't want me to shoot you in your forehead, hah!” The person outside hit him on his head.
However, Taehyung didn't even budge and show no fear to him.
“Hey, you've just said not to put any damage to him, yet, you're the one who started it.” The driver spoke, scolding the person.
“Tsk, just go now before my blood boils. I might be the one who kills him.” The person stepped back.
When the driver started driving, Taehyung stared at the person outside and smirked at him. They didn't notice that he recorded their conversation, he can use it as evidence against Jungkook to show everyone that he's not just a great person but also a murderer.
