The faint drops that littered his cheeks seemed to startle him as he abruptly sat up, whiplash hitting him hard as he palmed his head. A low grunt left him as green eyes viewed his surroundings. He'd almost forgot where he was, at least until the red, rusted metal jogged his memory. Left him in realization as his gaze shifted rapidly, a small hint of relief present at the emptiness around him. However, his relief didn't seem to last very long as something loud startled him.

The sound of force hitting the metal left a chime to ring out as he shifted his head upward, feeling his heart sink as fear gripped him. Dug its claws in as Izuku was faced with the creature from before, whose eyes bore through him almost. It perched itself on the rails edge, three eyes of different hues peering toward him, narrowed with caution. Wings were spread wide, leaving the mysterious creature more intimidating to Izuku, who was in comparison harmless. Not only that, but Izuku finally could take in the height difference. The thing before him was massive, towering over him with lanky legs and long arms. A rather prolonged frame, though oddly malnourished and skin a leathery lavender color.

Izuku would have kept staring truthfully if it wasn't for the sudden movements of the strange thing before him. How a mouth opened and revealed rows of teeth that were razor sharp. Revealed a tongue that was etched in barbs, along with a split toward the end, left tracing the creatures' lips with a sort of concerning look. One that felt more predatory.

It ultimately left Izuku to shuffle back, hearing those taloned feet hit the bridge. The impact itself was oddly strong, leaving the bridge to rattle. It made his heart leap in his chest as he viewed just how quickly the space between got covered. How a shadow crested his frame under the darkened clouds gaze.

The sudden force to his chest was instant as a large foot hit him, pressing his back to the bridge as Izuku's eyes widened, brimming with tears as the creatures' head seemed to loom closer. How the lanky frame bent over, bones seeming to creek and groan with the movements. Spine cracking slightly as a hand seemed to inch closer, long clawed fingers dragging along Izuku's cheeks gently.

If he wasn't panicking before, he was definitely there now. The way his vision shook, and water fell along his skin; along with the way his body trembled in fear. He wasn't afraid before when he'd planned his death, but somehow this was different. He was truly afraid in that very moment. Maybe it was the thoughts that crossed his mind, but it made him acutely aware of his situation and just what he'd been planning earlier.

Closing his eyes, he could feel something wet and sharp press to his cheek, no doubt the tongue he'd previewed before. Was he about to be eaten? It was a question that haunted him as he realized how helpless he was in that moment. How much a quirk might have helped him in that moment. He really was worthless...

However, Izuku was caught off guard the moment the foot on his chest seemed to lift. Left him prying his eyes open to view the creature's back. Watched how the strange being before him seemed to settle back by the bridge edge. Viewed how something familiar came into view as Izuku found his gaze stopping abruptly on his missing bag that had prior fell below. It left confusion flooding him as the creature seemed to bend low for it. Picked it up and sauntered close once more.

Truth was, Izuku was still on edge. It might have been the reason he acted the way he had. When approached, his panic had set in once more as he hand fished his shoe and ultimately chucked it at the creature. Watched the sole hit the directly as it fell once more to the bridge as sets of eyes lowered to peer to the red shoe before ultimately rising back to meet Izuku's gaze. A look that only confused Izuku further as he could have sworn, he watched the massive thing huff.

The free hand seemed to reach low, scooping up the shoe as once more the creature seemed to approach. Only, this time, Izuku seemed to stay still. Didn't act out. With everything, he could at least understand he wasn't at risk; yet.
