It stays quiet for a while and he moves closer to me wrapping his arms around me. 'I don't think I am ready to discuss that kind of information. I still need to process it.' He looks at me with a big question mark above his head. 'Not to be rude but why? It is proven it helps process better talking about her.' 'Can we switch subjects? I don't want to talk about it.'
He stops talking and asks something else. I don't know why I don't want to tell him. It just doesn't feel right. Is that bad? I get it off my mind and go back to focussing on the date.
When the food is all finished we go back home. We keep talking on the ride home and it is almost as if he never asked about my family.
When we arrive home there is still nobody home. He looks me in the eyes and pulls me closer. Now we are just staring into each other's eyes. The tension is definitely there. His hand is on my cheek and just as he is about to kiss me, Noah walks in.
'EEEWW don't kiss!!' I feel my head getting red and Aiden looks away. Luc's mom walks in with groceries and looks at us with a smirk. 'I am going on a walk, I will be right back.' I walk upstairs to get my head phones and sketch book. And I am gone.
As I walk through the rainy city I see a beautiful black cat sleeping on a tree. I find a bench, wipe off the water and get my umbrella. It is drawing time. I start with a simple sketch, when I'm home I will colour it in.
As I am busy sketching someone walks and sits next to me. It is Luc, what is he doing here? 'Hi Elena! I thought you are on a date with Aiden? What are you doing here?' I look up from my sketch book and I answer. 'We did go on a date but we went home early and I decided to have some alone time.' 'Oops, did I just disturb that?' I laugh. 'It's fine, don't worry. I was about to go home to colour it.'
I get up and we walk home. When arriving home I can see Aiden being a bit jealous when I walk in the door with Luc. 'I thought you were going on a walk alone?' Aiden says with a bit of a jealous tone. 'I was until Luc showed up in the last 5 minutes.' Aiden nods and gives Luc a look.
I walk to the kitchen to see Luc's mom there. 'Hey, could I help you to cook? I really want to learn it.' Luc's moms head lights up and shows me everything. We decided to make pasta. It is really fun to cook. 'And the best part of making dinner is that you allowed to yell that dinner is ready.' She said to me. 'Go on and do it.'
I walk to the hallway and start yelling: 'BOYS DINNER IS READY!' I hear some footsteps coming down and I sit at the dinner table.
