Birthstone kingdom

Chapter 8

It is a very quiet car ride. Nobody dares to talk to me or ask any questions. I feel like crying, this was supposed to be a birthday without them. Sam (the middle brother) clears the silence by asking a question: 'So Elena, you are the princess that got "unprincessed" like the one it the news, wait now you say it, everything matches; the birthday, you wear a lot of purple, doesn't talk about family.'

I let the silent sit for a minute. 'Yes that is true, no further questions until I am ready.'

We arrive home and I go straight to my bedroom and I hear whispering downstairs. I don't care, I change into my pyjama's and take off my make-up. I do my skincare routine and go in bed.

After 1 hour of thinking and not sleeping I get up. I get up and sit on the chair to write a letter towards my family. I'm going to express my true feelings, they can't hurt me anymore.

I start writing, I don't ever notice Luc's mother walking into my room. I get so emotional writing. She is standing next to me giving me the best support, just being there. When I'm done writing Luc's mom picks up my letter and seals it in an envelope. 'We will post it tomorrow, now go back to bed.' She tucks me in and I fall asleep instantly. As if the letter was the reason for not falling asleep.

After a good night sleep I wake up. I don't want to go downstairs so I scroll on my phone for 1 hour until I figure I should go out bed and show my face.

As I approach the stairs I see Aiden going out of his room. He is wearing a white shirt with some lose grey sweatpants, god damn it why is he so hot. I give him a smirk and he gives me a wink. 'So Aiden, when are we going on the date?' he thinks a few seconds and pulls me into his room.

His room is very cozy. He sits on the bed and I sit next to him. 'How about today? I know everybody is out the house because Sam and Noah have soccer, mom is working and Luc is going to tutor some random kid.' 'That sounds like a good idea!'

We look deep into each other's eyes and Aiden leans in for a kiss. I allow him to kiss me and we start to lay down. We paus for a bit, we look at each other. He leans to my ear and whispers: 'Now go get dressed and I will see you down stairs, just wait for the thing I will do to you~' He looks back at me and my heart jumps. What is this feeling?

He backs of and I hurry into my room. I pick out a cute top with some ripped jeans. I do a basic make-up look and spray some perfume. I put on Luc's necklace. My hair in a tail and ready to go.

I walk down the stairs and he stands with a bag in his hands. 'Jump on the back of my bike and you'll see the surprise.

It has been 10 minutes since he started biking and I see an open field. He parks the bike and we walk till we find a good spot.

He gets out the blanket and lays it down, I sit on it and he gets out the bag. He got cupcakes, macarons, 2 glasses and some water.

We eat and have fun. We talk about all sorts of things. He is 3 years older then me but he understands me good.

'So we have covert everything about what you are wanting to do with your life. Could I ask you about your family?' I get quiet, I don't know if I want that.
