I put on something okay for dinner and Eugene is knocking on my door. 'Please Elena, talk to me.' 'Go away, go love bomb mom or something.' I walks in with a pointing a finger at me. 'Don't you dare say that I do not do that I just love my mother very much!' 'Oh drop the act I know you want to rule the kingdom.' He looks angry but is getting relaxed again. 'Please show up to dinner today, that is all I ask.'

I show up at dinner and I look stone cold. It is quiet. Freddy suddenly stands up and looks at me. 'I got an amazing announcement, we found the perfect husband for Elena.' Everyone cheers and looks at me. I look in pure disgust and scream: 'FIRST YOU FUCKING CHEAT ON MY MOTHER AND NOW THIS, I AM DONE!' I storm out and I hear Emma yell out for me to come back.

I run to my room and lock it. I pack a bag and I text Luc if he can meet me in the city. Get my back and jump out my window into the garden. I go to my bike and speed away.

Luc has texted me back that he'll meet me at this café. Fuck it is starting to rain. On my bike I'm crying and I see Luc sitting outside. 'Hey Ele-' I hug him crying, I have known this boy for a few hours. 'wow wow wow. What happened?' I look up and burst in even more tears. He started hugging me and I calmed down.

'Please I'll explain things later, could I stay with you for the time I need it?' I look him right into is green eyes. I hear the police enter the city. 'Please I promise I'm not a criminal just take me somewhere the guards can't find me.' He holds my hand and runs towards a small entry. He gets out his key and runs through the door with me.

As we enter the house. His mother and 3 brothers look very confused at me. We are dripping from the rain. 'Hey mom, remember that girl I told you about? Elena? Well this is her, she needs a place to sleep for a while.' He looks hopeful and his moms eyes spark from joy and runs towards me and hugs me.

'Oh my god! We heard so much about you! You can stay as long as you want I'll go make your bed.' She runs upstairs and one of his brothers looks towards me. 'Aren't you one of the birthstone sibli-' I shut is mouth quick and say. 'well thank you for the compliment but no haha...' he looks at Luc with a weird face but walks upstairs.

Luc grabs my hand and takes me to his room. 'Now tell me what was wrong.' I sigh and look down at my hands. 'Well, I am indeed one of the birthstone siblings. All my siblings are forced to marry at the age 16. As you might know my birthday is in a few days and my step father has cheated on my mother many times and she keeps on forgiving him and then he had the audacity to choose my future husband. So I ran away and I'm going to sign papers so I'll be only be in line of the throne if all my siblings die. But I think it won't be necessary that I will be queen because all my siblings keep on love bombing her.' I look at him and he looks in pure shock.

'But you look nothing like her!' Luc says. 'I wear 300 layers of make-up when shown to the public. Do you understand why the royal guards where in the city? They were chasing me.' I open my bag and show him my crown and jewels my father made me. He started to believe me and just hug me.

His mom walked in and also hugged me. 'sorry dear but the walls here are thin, I heard the story and It is okay. We will care for you, I can help you with all the paper work. I start to cry again and hug her even harder. His mom starts to speak again. 'Your room is next to Luc's room, it was my husbands old room, he left for war and doesn't want to go back to us. But don't worry when the time is right we will clear it out.' 'thank you so much!'

I walk to my room and unpack everything. I open my diary and a picture of father fell out. I start to silent cry and fall asleep fully clothed.
