Hidden feelings

Friends again

Phoebe's point of view:
"Mom,guess what I am doing tonight!" Phoebe said to her mom and jumped on her bed excited. Her Mom just smirked and answered "I think that you are meeting Nathan right?" Phoebe just nodded happily and her smile grew wider at her moms reaction. She now went to her wardrobe and decided to wear a dark blue jeans with holes in it and her favorite red crop top with a zipper in the middle of the chest. Now she got her favorite black leather jacket and her black purse and went out of the house with a goodbye to her mother who remained in her bedroom to relax. Her outfit was complete with some white Nike sneakers who were pretty and comfortable on top. On the way to the Italian Restaurant where she would meet Nathan she was surprised by the looks that the guys on the street gave her, when she walked past them. But it was no wonder that they found her attractive because of her hazel green eyes and her hazelnut brown wavy hair that she wore in a elegant knot tonight. Once again Phoebe was reminded of her beauty and the power she had with it over the men. She just rolled her eyes at her own thought and stepped to the Restaurant on the other side of the street. As she entered she looked around the room with her eyes and recognized Nathan already sitting at one table at the window side of the restaurant and walked towards him. As she reached the table he stood up and kissed her hand like a true gentleman "Hello, Phoebe!" he said to her and Phoebe smiled at him while she internally melted because of his behavior. He gently led her to her seat and sat down to her opposite at the table. "Hey,Nathan. Thanks for your invitation!" Phoebe said to him now and looked at the menu to decide what she should order tonight. "Of course. I should thank you for telling Ellie of her stupid behavior,Phoebe! I wish that I had broke up with her earlier,but I couldn't get myself to do it." Nathan responded to the hazelnut brown haired beauty opposite him. "I did it with pleasure Nate. I didn't like her either!" she chuckled and decided to eat lasagna tonight,because she missed the taste of it for so long. "I will take the spaghetti with bolognese and you will take a lasagna right?" Phoebe gave him a surprised look out of her hazel green eyes and Nathan just chuckled "Did you really think that I would forget about that, darling? You must really hate me!". Phoebe just took her eyes off of him and looked at her fingers, who were folded in her lap now they were fidgeting because of her excitement and her nervousness. Phoebe just breathed in calmly and began a conversation with him to forget this weird moment before.

After they finished their dinner Nathan and Phoebe decided to go to their secret place at the beach of Westport to end their wonderful evening there. As they arrived Phoebe couldn't hold back her excitement and she did a little happy jump in the sand causing Nate to laugh at her. "What? Don't be a dick you missed this place too I bet!" Phoebe just snapped back at him and pulled him down with her on the sand. But Phoebe trembled and so they rolled a few seconds over the sand and ended up laying on each other. Nathan was under her and he pressed Phoebe by the waist down to his chest, but at first he didn't realize anything. Phoebe opened her eyes and looked down at him. She could see every pore of his beautiful and defined face and didn't realize that her eyes were lost on his lips. "Do I make you nervous, Love?" he asked and put his fingers under her chin to lift her gaze to his dark brown eyes. "Of course not,Dumbass! We are just friends again remember?" Phoebe snapped and pulled herself back from his body to avoid another incident like this. Nathan just broke out into a little chuckle and sat up in the sand. "You never fail to surprise me, Phoebe. But it's okay for me if you don't want to kiss me now! I just wait for your allowance." Phoebe just gave him a annoyed look and cleaned her body from all the sand that she had on her because of their accident. "It's late, I should go home now. Mom is waiting for me at home." Phoebe excused herself and hurried away from the beach, but before she could go any further a hand grabbed her wrist and stopped her. "Will you send me a message when you are home? I want to know that you have got home safely!" Nathan just said and let go of her wrist,as she nodded promising. For a moment they both just stood there and looked in their eyes fully in their own memories. //maybe he isn't that cold and mean as everyone says. With me he is completely warm and nice!// Phoebe thought and broke the eye contact that they both had. She just turned around and went to her moms house fast but not without any butterflies from him and their evening.
