Hidden feelings

The talk

Phoebe's point of view:
Later that evening Phoebe got the chance to speak with Nathan's Mom about him. //it is about time that I get to know why he changed so much since Highschool time.// she thought and went over to his mom who smiled at her with a warm gaze. "Hey,Charlotte! Can I ask you why Nathan is so different now? Did something happen while I was away from here?" she asked with curiosity and Charlotte just shook her head at her last question. "I don't know the answer to your question either, sweetheart. He changed after you went to New York for business reasons, Phoebe! Maybe you are the solution for this problem?" Phoebe choked at her champagne as she said this and looked at his mom again. "You mean that I should talk to him about his feelings?" Charlotte nodded and fixed her gaze on her son, who now talked to a blonde blue eyed girl who hung at his arm with such puppy eyes. Somehow he seemed to be annoyed by her, because he didn't even look at her and just talked with one of his friends about football games. "Okay, I am going to help him Charlotte. But if he bites me to shreds it's your fault!"she joked and went up to Nathan and his girlfriend. Charlotte's gaze just followed her with worry and doubt that he would let her get through his barriers.
Nathan's point of view:
At first he didn't even realize that Phoebe went his way but suddenly his girlfriend Ellie touched his arm and shrieked at the sight of her. "Oh my gosh what does she want from you? She is dressed like a hooker!" Nathan gave her a cold glance and gave Phoebe a welcoming smile. "Hey,Nathan! Long time no see right?" she greeted him friendly and smiled at him. Nathan just took her by the wrist and got on the dance floor with her in the middle of the garden. "What did my mother want from you Phoebe? There is no reason to lie I can see through you like a mirror,darling!" he looked down at her and saw how her gaze widened with shock as he said this. But he just took her by the the waist and danced with her very closely. "I just want to get to know you again,Nate. I really missed you in New York!" she lay her head on his shoulder and moved her body in the rhythm of the music. "I did miss you too,but that doesn't mean that I am going to fall for your Charme, Phoebe!" he replied and bowed to her respectfully to end their dance. He knew exactly that his mother wanted him to open up about his feelings to Phoebe,but he wasn't dumb enough to do what she liked. And so he just went back to Ellie and let her back at the dance floor alone.
Phoebe's point of view:
She stood alone at the dance floor and her gaze followed Nathan as he got next to his girlfriend and hugged her softly. //How did he knew that his mom had this plan to open him up about his feelings? She asked herself and got back to her mom, who waited for her at a table with her father and Nathan's father. She looked really tired and so she decided it was time for them to go home. She said goodbye to everyone except Nathan and so they went to her own home. There she just got ready to bed, but before she would go to sleep she checked her phone and saw a new message from a unknown number. *Meet me tomorrow at our favorite cafe at 4pm. Greetings Nate* She was really happy about this message and texted him back,that she would totally come to this meeting. //hopefully he is more nice to Me than he was tonight!// she thought before sleeping in and really hoped it with her whole heart.
