2.MONDAYS

"Wake up you lazy ass, you'll be late for work".

And that is how Neji found himself on Monday morning, hurriedly ironing his shirt, putting more wrinkles than removing , untamed hair , skipping breakfast, grabbing his files and suitcase and sprinting out the door in record time.

'Truly fuck Mondays', he thought as he started his car to go to the bane of human existence-Work! Don't get him wrong, he loved his work, but Mondays hit different.

Finally he parked his car at the parking lot of his company after competing with his co-racers on the heavy traffic road. Seems today just wasn't his day.

"Aah!!", one wrong step and he is on the ground .Thank god his nose is fine! He slowly got up , dusted his suit and looked down, the documents of his file splattered everywhere.

'Fuck Mondays again', he started gathering his papers. He saw something unusual which seemed out of place in his file and reached out to take it .

"Any help?", a voice came from above his head. He lifted his head and saw the same face that was in the photo he was about to take .

"You work here?", Shen Yang asked as he picked the photo . "Oh , the photo we had taken yesterday. I couldn't see this properly as I was in a rush . How is the kid by the way ? Ryder seemed to like her", he added.

Neji was out of the world for a few awkward seconds before he answered , "Yes".

"Huh?"

"Yes . I work here and Hanako is doing great.

"Does she still want my Ryder ?"

"Wouldn't stop talking about him", Neji continued,"Do you work here? I've never seen you here before".

"Oh, I'm about to join here today".

'Join? I didn't know there were vacancies'

"The designing department had one, and I applied for it, also you spoke that aloud", Shen Yang said with an amused smile.

"Oh....Umm.....I gotta go", Neji said as he prayed for the Earth to swallow him up.

"Sure, Your photo", he returned the photo back which Neji took and walked out of there as fast as he could.

"That's one weird guy", Shen Yang thought as he walked to his cubicle to start his first day .

Work seemed as colourful as white paint which was the usual which lead to lunch time.

'I could eat a whole banquet', he thought as he searched for his bento box which he usually kept under his table.

From the bottom of his heart, he said, 'FUCK MONDAYS', as he realized that he forgot his lunch at home.

"Oi , What's for lunch ?" his senpai Tanaka asked putting his arm around his shoulder .

"Forgot my lunch and now I have to go to the cafeteria" , his grumbling voice coincided with the rumbling of his stomach . For the second time , he wanted the earth to swallow him up . He quickly got up and walked towards the cafeteria ignoring Tanaka's laughter .

He was having his lunch in the farthest secluded table at the cafeteria  peacefully until....

"HELLOW!!!"

His heart nearly went into a cardiac arrest as the person screamed right into his ears . A face then popped up into his line of vision grinning ear to ear . He got his chance to take a proper look of the person upclose . He was wearing a plain white shirt with a blue tie and black pants . He had soft features , baby fat still on his cheeks , with piercings on both ears , brown round eyes topped with black wavy hair .

"Neji ?", He waved his hand infront of him and checked for any signs of life in his face . Neji jerked and came back to the world of living .

"Did I scare you ?".

"Yes".

"Sorry about that . I just saw you and got excited since you are the only person I'm familiar with here . So.......", and the rest of Neji's lunch break was filled with the voice of his new companion . He didn't mind it though .

Maybe this Monday is not that much fucked up .
