Titanic in Southampton

James, my mother, and I was in one of the cars taking us to the Titanic in Southampton. Elizabeth, my maid, and Mary, my mother maid was in another car. James is my friend/bodyguard and his father worked as a bodyguard for my father. James's father is now working for my grandparents after my father death. I am heading to America as a first-class girl with my mother and James. The car came to a stop and the driver opened the door for us. I gave him my hand and the driver helped me out of the car. I looked up to the ship and I was amazed by the ship. James got out of the car and helped my mother out of the car.

"Mother, she is a beautiful ship." Victoria said.

"She is beautiful, and she is unsinkable."  Eleanor said.

"Your mother is right. Irish man built this ship. Excuse me for a minute, ladies. I need to tell them about the luggage and safes." James said.

James told the crew about the luggage and safes, and he told them which rooms they go in. My mother was talking to me about finding a suitable husband. I am going back to America to find a husband. My mother was looking at my outfit and she said that I look beautiful in purple. I was wearing white suit with purple lines, and I also was wearing white gloves. I was wearing a big purple hat to cover part my face from the sun. James came back over to the ladies, and he check his pocket watch to see it was time to get on the ship.

"Ladies, it is time." James said. James started walking with my mother and I was right behind them. The maids were behind me.

"My coat." Victoria said.

"I have it right here, Miss." Elizabeth said.

I kept walking with my mother, James, and the maids. We got to boarding area to board the ship and my mother went before me. James walked up with me, and the maids were still behind me. The crew of Titanic welcome us aboard and my mother was talking to one of the crew members. I was excited on the outside but in the inside, I was nervous. My mother finished talking and we went up to B deck. The crew was showing my mother to her room and James and the crew showed me to my suite. My suite was the biggest suite on the ship and my grandfather pulled some strings to get me the suite. Titanic was leaving the port.

Elizabeth and I entered the suite and the crew started bringing the luggage in the suite. James was telling them where to put it. I looked around the suite and a crew member were telling me about the private promenade deck.

"This is your private promenade deck. Would you like anything else, Miss?" Crew member asked.

"No, thank you. I am fine." Victoria said.

"Elizabeth, help with my sleeves please." Victoria said.

"Yes, Miss. It smells brand new and just think I will be the first to sleep in the bed." Elizabeth said.

"Oh, Elizabeth." Victoria said.

"Put the safe in the wardrobe." James said.

"We all will be the first to sleep in the bed. It is good to see you again, Victoria Park." Bruce said. Bruce Ismay and Thomas Andrews entered the suite.

"Mr. Ismay, it is good to see you again." Victoria said.

"How are you doing, my dear." Thomas said.

"Mr. Andrews, I am good. The ship is beautiful." Victoria said.

"Thomas and I wanted to stop by to say a quick hello. We saw your mother earlier to informed her about dinner tonight." Bruce said.

"Oh, I heard from my mother that J.P. Morgan business partner son and daughter are traveling on Titanic." Victoria said.

"Yes. We met the young man earlier and they are sitting at our table for dinner tonight." Thomas said.

"His friends are also sitting at our table for dinner tonight and Captain Smith is too." Bruce said.

"My mother, James, and I will see you at dinner tonight." Victoria said.

Bruce and Thomas left the suite and James left to go to his own suite. I had Elizabeth start unpacking the luggage and I asked Elizabeth to put the money and jewelry in the safe. It was getting closer to dinner time.
