Dear Journal, or whatever the fuck this thing is;
I don't even know what to write in this. Ms. Blake gave it to me because she said it would "help suppress my emotions." Yeah so what? My anger issues aren't that bad.
Okay yeah, I've punched a few walls. And threw a couple of desks. But still.
It's not my fault I've got fucking problems.
If my mom were still here, this wouldn't be a fucking issue at all. I'd still be in New York with all my friends. But no. After Mom died, we had to go straight to fucking California! Fuck the people here and fuck everyone-
"Jamie, are you paying attention?" Ms. Blake sat there staring at Jamie smiling. Jamie pulled on the collar of his shirt, breathing a heavy sigh. Ms. Blake leaned back against her chair, tapping onto her smart watch. "We can just sit here for the whole thirty minutes or you can tell me about what's been going on."
"I don't even know what to say." Jamie said bluntly. "I've gone to four different high schools ever since I moved to California. The only close friends I have are Trey Lawrence and Addison Parker."
"Well that's a start. Anyways, for this week, I want you to write about your first two weeks of your senior year, okay? We'll report back next Monday. Oh, and try not to use so much vulgar language in your journal. I understand you want to get your frustrations out but swearing doesn't really help that, don't you agree?"
Jamie nodded and picked up his notebook and grabbed his bag. He opened the door to find Trey and Addison waiting for him.
"Yo dude, what did the shrink say?" Trey chuckled. Jamie rolled his eyes, opening his locker and stuffing his backpack inside. "I have to write in this stupid journal. Supposed to help with my 'emotions' or whatever." he said sarcastically.
"That old hippie doesn't know what she's talking about." Trey said, shrugging Jamie. "You guys wanna go grab something for dinner later?"
"Hell yeah, I'm down. Will you guys be okay if I brought Trevor with me?" Addison said, brushing her long copper red hair from her shoulders.
"Sure I guess. Whatever." Jamie said, shutting his locker.
Dear Journal,
Trey and Addison are the closest friends I have here. Trey and I especially, he's got me through a lot.
I mean, don't get me wrong. I love Addison and all, but I don't approve of some of the guys that she dates. Especially Trevor Chase.
Trevor Chase is pretty much the biggest fucking douchebag I've ever met. I can't fucking stand the guy. Dude thinks he's hot shit just because he's the fucking quarterback for our football team.
"Yo dude, Addie and Trevor just got here." Trey nudged Jamie, and Jamie sighed and put away his notebook. Addison and Trevor both slid into the booth right across from Jamie and Trey. Trevor immediately took some of Jamie's fries and ate them. "Help yourself asshole ."Jamie thought rolling his eyes. "Hey babe, I'm gonna wash my hands real quick." Addison said, planting a kiss on Trevor's cheek. Trevor gave Addison a smirk as he leaned back and continued snacking on Jamie's fries.
"Addie's so great, isn't she?" Trevor said, with a smug look on his face. He turned to Jamie and said, "hope you don't mind. You looked like you weren't eating any of your fries."
"I'm not that hungry." Jamie replied flatly. "So uh, Trevor, you gonna train all the freshman joining junior varsity again?"
"Dude, they're a bunch of fucking kids. Fuck that shit, I did it last year, not gonna fucking do it again." Trevor said, wiping his mouth with his sleeve.
Addison returned and sat next to Trevor, who now Jamie was looking at with his arms crossed. Trevor glanced at Jamie and chuckled. "Jesus dude, you ever smile?"
"Just shut up asshole." Jamie thought, grabbing the empty basket of fries and pulling it towards himself. "I want to just wipe that fucking smirk off your face."
Trevor laughed. "Fucking freak." Jamie heard Trevor mumble to himself.
Jamie's ears turned red. He balled up his fists tightly, his knuckles white. He could feel his blood boiling in anger.
"Shut. The. Fuck. Up!"
Trevor's nose suddenly exploded, blood pouring out of his nostrils. "Oh shit babe! Are you okay?!" Addison said, handing Trevor a few napkins.
Jamie sat there dumbfounded. He opened up his fists and glanced at Trevor, his nose still bleeding profusely.
"Did I just...? What the fuck?"
