The Great Escape

*I know there's an emo song called The Great Escape. You should listen to it if you haven't*

Ray: "Alright, Mikey you know what to do Mikey: "Yeah"
Ray: "Okay, Y/N
This is the plan You and I are gonna go through the gate while
Mikey tells the security guard that someone is unconscious.
He has a friend who is gonna be lying on the floor and when he tells the security guard he's gonna join us. Mikey, I'll text you where we're gonna hide while you distract him."

Mikey: "Okay, I'ma go now, be ready to book it out."
Me and Ray saw Mikey on his phone, then he went up to the security guard in an alert tone. I felt a tug on my arm. Ray: "Let's go, Now!"

We ran to the gate and went to this alleyway almost next to the school and waited for a bit.
After 5 minutes, we saw Mikey running towards us. Ray: "Was the security guard suspicious?" Mikey: "Nah, Pete did a great job. He should win an Oscar." Ray chuckled a bit and led us towards Frank's house.

Mikey *knocks* We waited for a bit before the door opened. Mikey: "Is he awake now?"
Frank: "Yeah, he's in my room." Ray: "Hey dude, what happened? Was it because of you know what?" Frank: "I mean I'm guessing cuz all he has been doing is just drinking and looking at his phone."

Mikey: "Hey, bro are you better now?" Gerard: "Yeah, I am better but I can't stop thinking about her. She was so amazing." I just stood there watching Gerard.

Frank: "Y/N do you want to play video games with me and Ray?" "Um, yeah sure. What games do you have?" Frank: "I have Mortal Kombat special forces, the Sims, Resident Evil Survivor, Red Dead Redemption, Rock Band 1 2 and 3, Call of duty black ops, and D&D. I honestly can't choose between Rock Band 2 or Mortal Kombat. Hey Ray, which one do you wanna play first?" Ray: "C'mon dude we always play Mortal Kombat. I'll pick a rock band we haven't played that in a while."

"Frank, what did you guys decide to play?" Frank: "Rockband 2 it's gonna be fun, I promise." I looked at him for a sec then said "Sounds cool, um I'm kinda hungry Do you have food? I haven't eaten lunch yet." Frank: "Yeah, I have chips they're on the table and I'll order pizza in a bit. The soda is in the fridge." "Thanks, Frank."
I went to get the soda while Ray set up the game.

Ray: "Okay the game is ready. I call dibs on the drums!!" Frank:"I want the guitar!" I came back and found them choosing the song "How do you play the game?" Frank: "You first choose the song. We chose Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi.
when we hit play we get the instruments and try to play it like how the screen says. I chose the guitar and Ray is on the drums." I looked around and said, "What do I play?" Ray: "You are gonna sing it. Is that cool?" I got nervous, my heart started racing. "What?!! Why!?? I know the song but what if it comes off shitty?"
Frank: "It's fine you don't have to be perfect it's just a game. Here *he hands me the mic* just try your best."

Ray: okay guys I'ma press play." The game started, I shook the nerves I had around my body and took a breath. Everything's okay I kept repeating in my head. Ray: "Hahaha I'm beating your progress. Frank, you suck and you call yourself a guitar player."
Frank: "Shut up Ray, last time you couldn't even press the buttons at the right time, plus I'm better at drums." *Knock Knock* Ray: "Mikey, can you get the door and pay for the pizza? The money is on the table." Mikey: "I'm coming."

*Opens the door*
Pizza delivery guy: Is this a large pepperoni pizza and a medium cheese pizza? Mikey:"Yes" Pizza delivery guy: Okay your total is 21.35$.
Mikey gives the guy the money and gets the pizza. Gerard quickly comes out of the room with a bottle. Gerard: "damn, who's singing?"
Mikey quickly turns to look at me and says
"Y/N" the song finishes and I go to the table and grab a slice. Ray: "Aw nice cheese pizza." Frank: "Y/N you did better than I thought."
"Thanks, I really tried not to strain my voice it was difficult." Gerard: "Hey Y/N Frank's right you sounded nice."
I looked at Gerard and he smiled.

He looked at me and I watched as his gaze got softer with every passing second. I
locked eyes with him and We stared at each other for what seemed like forever.
Mikey: "What are you weirdos doing?" Ray chuckled a bit "Love is in the air Mikey." Ray mocked Gerard just rolled his eyes took some pizza and sat on the couch. I went and sat next to him. "Hey Frank, can I get a chip?"
Ray: "Ohh shit. She said it." Frank: "Sure." He got the bag sat on it grabbed a broken piece of chip and gave it to me. "What the fuck?" I said, Gerard: "Don't be confused about it. He does it to everyone who asks that question and I have no idea why."

After a while of playing video games and eating junk food, it was getting kind of late. Mikey went to Ray's house to pick up the new video game he got and bring it back to Frank's house.
"Guys I gotta go thank you for everything. My mom is gonna arrive in about 2 hours." I got my backpack and was about to leave before Gerard said "It's dark outside and there's a bunch of crack addicts around this block. Do you want me to drive you home?" I didn't hesitate "oh yeah, sure."
