Luz tapped her foot as she stood outside her house, waiting for her bus.
"This is fucking stupid." Luz said.
"You opened a portal to Hell in the middle of school, Mija, what else are your father and I meant to do?" Camila asked, walking outside, "If it wasn't for your father, then you may have been taking away and dissected."
"Yeah, cause that will work." Luz reached up and snapped her own neck, "It will be hard to do that to me."
"Mija!" Camila said, grabbing her daughters head and realigning her neck, "You can't do that in public."
"I am the princess of Hell, the literal Anti-Christ." Luz said.
"You're still my daughter! I don't care if you are meant to bring the apocalypse, you will listen to your mother." Camila said firmly.
"Whatever." Luz said, crossing her arms.
"Now, your bus will be here soon, and your father wanted me to remind you to take your book." Camila said, handing Luz a large book with black leather and a pentagram and a book that was the complete opposite.
It was colorful, flowery, and something that made Luz act more like an adorable puppy than the heir to hell.
"The Good Witch Azura!... And... you know... my Devil Tome too." Luz said.
"Mmm Hmm." Camila hummed with a smirk, giving Luz the Devil Tome as well, "Your father told me to make sure you didn't leave without them. Remember, no spell practicing in public, don't steal anyone's souls, and NO OPENING PORTALS TO HELL." Camila said giving Luz a kiss on the cheek, "Adiós, te amo, también lo hace tu Padre."
Camila left Luz and went to work. Luz went to put the Azura book in her bag with her Tome when she noticed... her Tome was missing! Luz's eyes widened.
"W-w-where is it!?" Luz asked, looking for it, when she heard a hoot.
She looked up and saw an owl with a bag that had junk and her Tome in it! Luz's nails turned into claws.
"Okay, little guy, we can this the easy way, or the hard way." Luz said, "Give me, my Tome back."
The owl turned tails and rushed off.
"Oh? So it's the hard way then? Fine by me!" Luz shouted, rushing over the owl.
Out of the public eye, Luz's eyes turned black with red iris as she began to run in all fours!
'You won't escape me!' Luz thought as her eyes glowed red.
The young half demon ran as fast as her arms and legs could go, which was actually pretty fast, moving similarly to a wolf when running, but the owl eluded her grasp. The owl hopped into the old cabin and Luz followed it, not noticing that the door was glowing.
"Hooo!" The owl let out, flapping out the doorway!
"Give me my tome, you flying brown rat!" Luz shouted, pouncing at the owl!
The Owl flew away as Luz missed and landed face first on the ground. She growled as she picked herself up, wiping the blood from her nose.
"Where did that damn bird go with my Tome." Luz said.
"Finally, you're back!"
Luz heard that voice and went to the tent flap. She saw a woman with wild gray hair, in a red dress, with a bandana wrapped around her hears.
"Let's see what you brought." She said, spinning the Owl onto a stick, making it wood.
The woman pulled out a cell phone.
