"...The what?!" Gemini was astounded.
Clover Hall? What kind of name was that? What even was this place?! And most importantly- how did Fourth even get involved with this cosplayer?!

"I'm sure you guys are confused. Yeah, it's not your average building, I know, I know...I'll explain everything to you two later, I promise! But first-" the woman in purple started when she noticed Gem looking at her, weirded out, "- how about we check out what you two are actually here for?? Right Fourth?" Her eyes moved to Fourth.

Fourth nodded. He was the most confused one out of the two. Probably slightly guilty too, for dragging Gemini into all of this. What if they don't return home after today and just disappear into thin air? Is it really their last day on Earth- what if he becomes an Avenger and sent to a mission on Earth 3000- no that would be kind of interesting- but his parents would miss him so no-

Fourth's mind was all over the place, he didn't even notice Gemini drag him as they both followed 'Lady Maho' to a round, golden- white table that surrounded the hourglass. He was shook back to 'reality' by Gem. The woman was calling for him. "Ah- yes- sorry I spaced out for a bit-" He apologized.

"Oh that's fine, people space out here ALL THE TIME" She shook her head and laughed.
"So, Fourth Nattawat...birth date- 18th October, a libra , high school student, you might not be the top student, but your grades are pretty good. And the reason you're here is... to check how lucky you are? Am I right??" Lady Maho inquired, pulling out a tablet from somewhere under the table and scrolling through it.

'How lucky? Why would Fourth need to check something like that- wait- is that even possible to know?!" Gemini wondered. The place was getting more and more mysterious but exciting at the same time. They didn't care if it was all a lie, they just wanted to know what was coming.

"And.... Here! I found your profile Fourth!" The 'cosplayer' exclaimed.

"My profile? What's that? " How was Fourth supposed to know what kind of profile it was? His gaming stats from Genshin? Or the profile he gave to be elected as the school president but lost by one vote??

"Hmmm... I'll explain. So we encounter alot of different situations in our lives and meet different people. Many of them are fated or meant to be, but at the same time, many of them take place due to our luck too, by chance. These chances could be lucky, also known as 'Serendipity' - I'll measure those lucky chances for you... and...." the pair looked at the woman intently, ".... tell you!"

"That's all ?" Gem and Fourth both asked in a chorus.

"Um.. yeah? What else did you two expect?" Lady Maho asked with a teasing frown.
She showed the tablet screen to them. It really did have Fourth's profile- from the exact time he was born to the exact time he entered the Clover Hall- it had everything. Fourth almost couldn't believe himself- but then again, the fact that they're inside 'what was supposed to be an arcade but turns out to be a ginormous space with an old name from God knows what mid rated Fantasy novel', this wasn't a huge surprise.

"To be honest," she continued, "this is actually just a side hustle for some quick cash. Clover Hall is actually a place that assigns and manages the luck that different people get based on their deeds. You see that mirror up there?" Maho pointed at the mirror up there. The moment Fourth looked up, the mirror changed into something else. What they saw was a constellation, a beautiful one. The star like dots connected to eachother left Gemini hypnotized by how enchanting they were. He couldn't help but gaze at them in awe- that were probably the most mesmerizing formation he had ever seen.
